The grid in the Sky Bubble acts as a floor for objects, so yes, I'm sure they will rest on top.

yeah i agree some of the best maps on foundry look bad compared to some of the stuff they have shown on the screenshots. That just shows how much better custom games are gonna get!

I meant fire it with a man cannon like most other aesthetic ship maps they use a man cannon to fire a crate or some other object out of a "cannon" made of open double boxes.

Lol your probably right. Wonder if the killball gives off some kinda lighting like the light orbs? Maybe you could use it for a quad base map such as warlock. Do you think you'll be able to merge the light orbs together to make a different color like they did with ovy and camo to make purple?

So then theoretically it would be possible to make a map in sky bubble where there was no permanent floor? Wow. You can actually make a dogfight map now.

haha, i bet you can got a cool effect, (for previously mentioned killball sun/planet) by putting lighting effect stuff behind it, and even adding some filters.

has anyone even considered the new possibilities for Screenshots, with the lighting effects, killball, and the lights from the giant towers surrounding sandbox.

Lol, never thought of that. That sounds pretty fun actually... but there will still have to be small platforms for the vehicles and people to spawn.

This I seriously seriously doubt, at least ouside of forge. Maybe in forge mode you can lay them on the grid, but when an actual game starts the grid is gone, so it would be like trying to float a movable object.

It'd be neat to make one of these :D you could have floating spawns and have the players spawn above the vehicles so they dont just spawn and fall and die that way they land on the banshee/hornet and can hop in them and take off.

Well, maybe you're right, but neither of us really know for sure.

I don't really care which way it goes, because I can just work around it.

    Clearing this up:
Immovable objects can rest on the "ground" in the sky bubble. Anything else falls through. This includes people, immovable objects, vehicles, and equipment.

What are you talking about? You can't forge in a custom game! You can't even get up there in a custom game!

Now that I think about it, it makes sense if movable objects pass through the Sky Bubble.

I guess I wasn't thinking straight when I said that they could lol

Aww well there goes my idea with the no floor dogfight map. (the dogfight thing was someone elses idea i was just thinking of ways to make it so it was purely air-vehicles only, no place to jump out and fire an AR or whatnot at the flying planes.)

Well, you could still make it happen. Just use the smallest immovable object you can find that will fit both a flying vehicle and a spartan, and you should be good.

Well, this just means there'll have to be a hanger that vehicles and people spawn in.

Here's an image explaining the, dare I say "likely," possibility of an underground section. Presumably made by a member of another forum I visit:

What are YOU talking about? He's saying that when in the forge game mode, the movable objects will float. But when you load the same map up in a custom game, it will fall. And what are you saying you can't get up there in a custom game? Why would it be there if you can't get up there.
