I would like to point out that those of us in Aussie and NZ will be getting these maps on the 26th our time (25th of February or you folks on the other side of the world) EAT MY SHORTS!! HAHAHAHA
I looked at the calendar and since Halo Wars/Mythic is coming out Friday the 27, we should know everything about Mythic Map Pack there is to know by Friday the 20. ^ that's not spam... Edit- that's to chipsinabox Also I think you guys are getting this wrong. I think that the actual Sandbox will be built for large maps, the skybubble for everywhere from medium to tinyand the "cavern/underbubble/hole" would be small maps. I thnk if there is a cave, it will be no bigger than foundry.
I think we can make pretty big maps in the Sky Bubble. Not necessarily fill the whole area up, but we can probably Forge the most play-space up in that area.
If there is an underground, I expect it to be Foundry-sized, but slightly bigger, due to the absence of a dividing wall.
Actually Zeppelinboy, it appears that the Sky Bubble is larger then the middle. So wouldn't it make more sense if it went: Underground: Small Middle: Medium Sky Bubble: Large Am I right or am I right?
Well your just flat out wrong because you don't know half of what you said to be fact. Oi, I just don't see whats wastin your breath in speculation worth for.
Ah but why waste the resources to create a large floor up there when you have Sandbox?bah, maybe I'm just trying to come with reasons to forge on the main part of sandbox, because to me there doesn't seem like anyb reason.
I guess you just don't get the thrill out of it like we do. Anyway, if This Blue Grid Area is the whole area that we can Forge on, then OMG!
But remember that its like over air. You have to create a base for all the walking space unlike the ground floor. That way you use more resources which limits the perspective size of your map. That is... unless you are trying to have a totem jump map, i.e. jumpity jump jump then yeah it could be of a good size.
My theory was that the blue grid extended to the light towers and that barrier. That would have been massive! But what we get up there is huge still. I'm wondering about the lighting up there. Because so e pictures of it made it look like the sun was higher up there and the sun is shining up there.
That just further proves my point. It appears that the middle Sandtrap area is the sandy area that is lighten up and the Sky Bubble is the grid. Which one is bigger, eh? Then again, looking at this image, could this be how far the middle stretches out? My question is, if the sand is supposedly not placeable. Why would the grid in the picture stretch out past the dunes?
Because the skybox does not have to worry about the dunes? I thought this is obvious, but maybe I am just reading what you are saying wrong... -_-
Oh yeah, I put all that into account.. but it's still massive where you can make some sweet sniping maps.. and "totem jump" maps. Imagine a further separated Boarding Action. It would be epic.
Oh gawd no! I thought I put that out of my mind. Just like Foundry was spammed with Midship and Foundation remakes so shall Sandbox with Boarding Action. Dear lord the wave of maps will be soo.... many..
Yeah, there will be a lot, but you can count on me not making Boarding Action. I'll leave that to everyone else.
And it's up to all of forgehub to make the good ones instead of some random guy putting two small boxes across from each other and going "lawl, I maed boardign axzshun. bunge favorates plz?" Or at least sort through them to find the better ones. Murphy help us. EDIT: Not it! (For Boarding Action remake) *touches nose*
Can you travel between tiers in-game? Could you, say, make a map on the middle tier that utilized the tunnels? Assuming, of course, that there are tunnels.
No, I meant that I had thought that maybe that was an overview of the grid on the middle tier, not the Sky Bubble. Sorry for the confusion. I might try at it for a Boarding Action remake. I will use interlox, that you can count on!
