Umm.. I don't think anyone has noticed but the overview actually shows the objects placed on the custom variant. Foundry doesn't. =D

    I don't think it's the default.. /smiles

Its diagonally symetrical. u kinda see it in Project X sort of, thats wat the layout of sandbox looks anyways.

whoa the sky bubble is HUGE! Already knew this but this is definitely easier to compare than any other screen we've had :). Also want to note the kill way out in the sand, seems like either it wasn't on the default variant or this was a very lax game (more likely the latter).

I belive that first picture is a grid. This would probably be for the skybox and not the normal level. Also if these are overview pictures and they have the main ground level ans well as the skybox why don't they have the cavern. And I hopewe can brak the map and get to those dunes. That is a huge blue grid. From preious pictures I had no idea it was so large.

Sandbox would appear to be an inverted symetrical map. this means that one side is symetrical to the other except after you get the reflection you just flip it around. and you are right project X is this way.

    Look At This!

I don't care if it has been posted yet, but I just thought that would be interesting to you guys. Check out when it was released to... it also says it's free. Hehehe...

To bad we can't download it! That would be sweet!

EDIT: After seeing those Overview pictures I am amazed at the size of the top portion! It looks Sandbox sized! Well maybe a bit smaller, but for realz!? We get to forge on that!? I can't wait!

EDIT AGAIN: I have never realized how flat Orbital really was! That does look great for Infection maps! Aww... I might just have to make my first map on Orbital then.. darn!

It's actually just rotation (?) symmetry. If put a point in the middle of the map, and then spin half of the map around the point, then it will line up perfectly.

One member made a thread about, which later got flamed, and resulted in the banning of Reynbow. But yes, it is a little funny, I wish it was true.

If the floor is middle there has to be an underground

Yeah, and when you click it, it says that the offer has expired. :(

I'm keeping it bookmarked just in case it somehow works on March 3rd or maybe the day Halo Wars is released in Europe.

More evidence towards "The Hole". I do think "The Cavern" or "Cavern" would be a better name for it though. Bring it on Bungie! Even a cryptic picture on the weekly update of the underground. We know it's there :)

Nice find again. I think the tags need to be redone (again :p). We beat Bungie, I feel special.

If there is a cavern then I will be so happy! Can I say "Perfect place for an Infection map"? It had better be dark!

I must say were getting very good at this stuff. I guess our Sandtrap Investigating 6 months ago payed off with our mystery skills. You're right whoever said the Top pic and Middle pic thing, But they wont name the other one Cavern obviously it'd be Bottom; Top, Middle, Bottom.

Now I really can't wait until Friday to see if they confirm this or not.

If there isn't an underground portion, I'll still be way happy.

They gave us a clue in a recent Weekly Update. Someone on b.net figured that it could be 37 days after the release of Halo Wars.
