a few pages back, i noticed people talking about wanting to fall from the skybox to the ground without dying from the barrier. this is simple to do, simply place a teleporter where you want to fall off, then put the top of a 2way teleporter on the skybox right under it, so it is hanging on the skybox death floor. then put another 2way with its top on the bottom of the previous one. then just link up the bottom 2way with the sender you placed first, and you can go through the sender to fall over 9000 feet to the surface oh, and to the people talking about a vehicle dispenser from the skybox to the ground, they would explode b4 some1 cud get in
i beleive so Matty. Though i have a felling the TransHornet will be like the mongoose or Troop Hog equivalent, except flying and maybe a bigger seating capacity.
Transport Hornet is the same vehicle present on Avalanche. The other variant has missile launchers. You can use both if you want.
Thanks for the clarification. =) I'm excited we have arch pieces in forge now! We used to waste so many objects creating these structures that now come pre built for us. I can't even imagine what to expect from everyone down the road.
I'm still slightly disappointed there's no troop hog, but that didn't seem like it was gonna happen anyway.

You're disappointed they left out an overkill begging to be had? That warthog would be useless in game IMO. Might be fun to tool around in during a forge session though.

Huh, we actually get 4 kill balls, not just 2. That's sorta good news, but not really. Can you resize the balls?
I very much doubt, FORGE has the capacity to resize killballs, or we would be able to resize all objects.
You may not be able to see Shishka, but I can muahahaha. He chooses to lurk on invisible status, but staff can see him :0)

Hopefully during the break coming up next week time will speed up I want to just make some awesome maps, and see what everyone else has to offer. It sucks to not have a fileshare though... won't be able to share any of my stuff :/
The gravlift doesn't have to instant spawn. Don't you remember the Zipline or even the first version of Distortion? If you have the gravlift sitting on a wall and place something movable under the wall the gravlift will hold it up against the wall. Grabbing the custom power up on the map will instant spawn another one next to a fusion sitting on a shelf above the gravlift and pushes it off to fall and destroy the gravlist. Nothing left holding the warthog or whatever up so it falls down to the map.
The switch I described is often used for doors. The switch you described is often used for elevators. However, elevators often used crates, which Sandbox so far appears to have none. I see no point in arguing the fact that Sandbox offers little chance for switches...
For the love of all that is holy and/or Urk having to waste time by confirming what we already know, killballs are not sizable. They're not called killzones. Balls are not rectangles. This is not a hard concept folks. You'd think that after 200 pages of posts we'd realized that by killBALLS they mean...balls. Gorsh. /rant
