They are? All I noticed was that mostly every important object was $5. Were they $4 before and I just didn't know? And anyways you guys, think about what they said earlier, before the interviews. They said that you usually hit the item limit before the budget. This means the budget must be pretty high for it to beat a limit of 640 items. Right?
Val, i think you may be getting a little too excited. srsly, not kidding. Im surprised there is that many walls and such, i mean 40 walls, r u srs! and they took someting i wished for 1/4 wall, and slit walls(which i can only imagine is 1/8 or 1/16 of a regular wall) Also, did anyone else notice that they raised the prices on many items such as shield doors, fusion coils, pallets, man cannons, grav lifts and more. EDIT: Damn something. got there b4 me Anyone wanna take a guess on what exactly is a Slit Wall?
^ what he said i think theyre gonna be like peep holes; so that for the most part you're covered, but you can still see outside of them.
Lol, Golf Club and Golf Ball in Sandbox. I just barely read it lol. Anyway, there are so many objects in Sandbox. I'm going to have fun!
Anybody notice anything like a Door yet? Not that geomerging is (or has ever been) really necessary... Also, the only way someone will make these Sketchup Components is if there's a cash-prize at the end for the best set. It's also the only way you'll ensure accuracy. It would also mean you'd get results much faster. It's a win-win situation. Not to mention that whoever gets the cash-prize also wins.
Well as long as bungie hasn't patched it you can still geomerge the other way. Even if geoemrging isn't nesacary because grenades no longer slip under objects i will still geomerge and interlock everything together. I love the fresh look that results when all objects are connected to each other as well as the ground. Actuall got quite a few ideas for geometry. Anybody willing to help write a guide with me.
How bout this... I will pay for Halo Wars Limited Edition for the person who makes it... is that enough incentive people? I think they would be great assets to the community and I am not afraid to dish out... I do have the cash...
What is this "other way" of geomerging that everybody keeps talking about? (Sick, you can level up your forum user EXP!)
Anyone have a clue what the Transport Hornets will be like? I know you guys probably already discussed this, but I wasn't around and I don't want to read the past 20 pages lol Anyway, I wonder how many players they can hold..
You could do the original goemerging trick using other objects instead of doors. We might have to resort to that on this map, but it would suck.
Pyramid I'll be building this: and considering how many items we have to work with, the interior will look like this:
I think its mostly been agreed upon that the carrier hornets are probably the hornets from avalanche that don't have the missiles.
Won't have to worry about Geomerging if you stay up in the Sky Bubble now will you! Unless you are making a map on the ground floor... which I most certainly am not!
I am excited, I have so many ideas that I wish to create! Seriously, I had an orgasm when I looked at that list...
Really? Was that Desolation or Tombstone...never noticed monkeys in either.... Anywho, I've began planning my next map...for those of you who may care it shall look like this:
