Ok, i saw back like 20 pages ago where the whole SkyBox/bubble stuff started. can someone give me a detailed description on how this works or how they think it works. Im very confused and my brain is very tiny on account of im only 5'3"

After sandbox comes out do you think anyone will make any maps on Foundry? or are all the mainstream gonna move to Sandbox?

 

As bungie explained, its an invisible floor visible (with gridlines) in forge, and you fall through but objects don't. It's made to be there and supplies a large space to make areal maps. It's so tight.

the sky bubble is the area above the map where you can place immovable objects without them falling through. You cannot stand on it however. if you fall below the blue grid, you will fall to your death. In forge there is a teleporter that auto spawns allowing you to go to the sky bubble.

foundry won't be forgotten i don't beleive. just a little ignored.

 

No, I most certainly will stay in Foundry and use Sandbox. I mean what are we? Some maps may only work in Foundry.

 

I don't think I'll ever go back to Foundry.

I mean, I stopped forging on it anyway.

 

I'm gonna be looking back at this thread months from now when we have all gotten tired of Sandbox and laugh.

Or I'll be looking at a thread for the other three mythic maps and cry.

Either way I'm going to be a happy soul.

On an unrelated note, in the weeks between the release of Halo Wars LE and the mythic map pack onto the marketplace, I'll be heeding attention to many Sandbox variants. That I know for a fact.

 

GUYS! What if there was a forge filter that turned everything into salsa. That would be delicious.

But seriously, I don't think there will be new forge filters.

 

Well, that would be completely pointless unless there was another one to make chips.

I'm not gonna lie to you guys, I don't really care for the textures. I think its gonna give some weird perspectives, and enclosed maps will feel really weid. Plus, great aesthenics will be hard to come by.

Say there is a texture filter, then that's bomb ****.

That's about the only thing that worries me.

there might be. You know, bungie hasn't given us all the goods on sandbox yet. there's still probably PLENTY of freakin goodies left that they haven't told us yet. Its not even gonna be released till another month or so; they can't give us EVERYTHING yet. So the possibility is still there.

@Bloumbas: I'm actually happy for another sand map. Human has gotten dull to me, and forerunner is way too common.

 

Tell me if you decide to make it. I'll bye the lube and stuff to start our fapfest! make a list of stuff to buy?

I'm going to be quite worried about sky maps line of sights.

 

I like the sky bubble that should be interesting. Many great maps can be made by using it.

 

Well, think about it. The maps aren't going to be released for another few weeks. What are they going to write about in upcoming Weekly Updates? Sure, they often expand on the previous week's information if it involved momentous news, but there's still plenty of time.

If only Bungie gave us something new. Destroyed planets... Space stations such as Forward Unto Dawn and the Pillar of Autumn.
