I'm guessing the floor that keeps objects from falling in the sky bubble is something that only spawns in forge mode, so yes, fusion coils can probably fall.

i know, my disk reader broke, this happened right before i got my preordered halo 3, and now right before i get my preordered Halo wars

I can't wait to see the influx of Sandbox maps on Bungie lol. Hopefully I'll snag some good ones to give me my own ideas for maps.

Btw, does anyone else feel like Sandbox is almost too much to ask for? I mean, Bungie keeps surprising us, and each time it gets so much better. I don't know how much more excitement I can take!

 

Lost amidst the pancake ridiculosity:

Will the default Sandbox include items (as this suggests) or will it be blank?
Because that is kinda stinky that you have to remember not to delete stuff to avoid the item limit.

 

I just remembered, this opens up many new possibilities as to the location of the Sandbox skull.

 

The skull is the monitor skull too so it might only be obtainable via forge.

 

uh.. im workin on a hell-u tight foundry MLG map, best forgin ive ever done, but now when i get it done and post it, everyones gonna be like" eww. a foundry map, that was soo march 2nd"

one thing, does anyone else think there is a possibility of merging stuff through the skybox floor, saving quickly and making maps in between the two realms??

if it worked without you dying, there would be some sweet "sky elevator" type possibilities.

That would be cool, but I think once you pass a certain point in the skybox, you die.
I think teleports would be fine.

yeah, but could you possibly live if you made a closed in area and got there via teleporter?? kind of like some of the maps where people glitch out and you have to stay on crap or you die???. this def. needs tested

 

We already thought of that a long time ago on this thread.

 

I have a feeling that the killing area is below the grid to actually give players that falling feeling. Imagine Guardian where you die as soon as you pass the floor of bottom, it would have a very odd feeling to it.
