Wow, I was in shock reading that article. The sky bubble idea sounds so surreal. And to think that people were just worrying about blocking off their maps with only two killballs... are they in for a surprise.

 

Heck, who needs killballs when you have an infinite amount of space in a bubble.

If it hadn't been released in the last map pack, I think we would've seen an epic race for the best Lockout remake. Any other floating maps from CE/2 worth the remake? But either way, Skybox building is gonna remake forging...

There are still a few things worth building on the actually Sandbox, but they pretty much made it pointless. I mean who in their right mind that's just a casual forger would want to be on regular Sandbox?

I can also see Bungie releasing with a bunch of defaults, or at least a Bungie Favorites dedicated to Sandbox maps.

 

Beast! Skybox is going to be epic! Bungie ftw!

 

I wonder if part of default Sandbox gonna be in the bubble. Also, Is there any other way up besides a random teleporter?

 

No, its completely by itself. Also you have to have a teleporter, because if you fall you die.

 

So, I saw the sky bubble and was all liek FAPFAPFAPFAPFAPFAPFAPFAP!!!!! Bungie listened to our cries for floating maps!!! Hopefully Interrobang, Lunar Chronicle, and Transfusion were responsible, LOL.

Sniping will never be the same, after you're taking out targets on the sand from the skybox. And Bungie hopefully will put the variants, some of which we've seen in the screenshots, up onto Bungie Favorites. Some of them look damn good. Hell, I'm looking forward to seeing many remakes of older maps.
