Ok, guys, I think that balls come in all shapes and sizes, as proven by this comparison: Therefore, it would seem to me that just because kill balls are balls, that doesn't mean they aren't resizable.
rofl thats hilarious. i dont expect it is resizable, but they did say they made a map where if u fall, u die from the killballs. something about a volcano???
It probably just has a volcano, and there is a kill ball inside of it. I guess the kill balls sort of look like lava, so it's actually pretty cool lol
They said if you had plans on making a lava map, then you'll be disappointed to hear that there are only two killballs available in game. DO NOT EXPECT THEM TO BE SIZABLE!
So, there is supposed to be an article about Sandbox on IGN today, right? I've looked all around ign.com and didn't find any clue that there would be one.
Matty: IGN said they are going to do a more in-depth review on Sandbox today. Bungie will probably post a blog when they do, or Urk could give it to us sooner. ;]
I understand that part, but it still doesn't really make sense why one time we can hit the OLN legally, and the other we can't.
Chrst, with foundry the budget was relatively small compared to Sandbox. So we would have never hit the OLN "legally". We would always run out of budget before we reached the OLN. However, now with Sandbox, budget is no longer an issue. We will hit the item limit before we reach maximum budget. When we budget-glitched foundry, budget was no longer an issue, and it had the same deal as Sandbox. Help?
My point pigeon, we could glitch foundry to hit the OLN, but now we won't have to glitch sandbox to hit the OLN, seems like budget was an over precaution.
I believe, due to the size of foundry, the did not want that many objects on the map. I know for a fact it creates lag, my map Exalted has the max number of items possible, with the budget glitch, and it takes forever to get into the game with more than 4 people, and it lags quite a bit. So now that Sandbox is quite large, they could make budget really large. On foundry, yes, it was probably a precaution.

but, but, but, will we be able to use kill balls to block all of Sandbox's floor? /sarcasm This is probably the best thing that could have happened. I heart Bungie. And whoever said they wouldn't offer an easy way to wall the place in and thus render Foundry irrelevant, you gets a cookie.
