    This is my first map post so be gentle =P EDIT: Sorry about those 2 small pics, I will fix them later today. Also This was back in October, I have improved in Forging.

    Elation

    I started to work on Elation back in October... I finished it in November but never released it. This is one of the maps on my future map pack. This is kind of a test version.

    Elation is a very small map with one level. It is enclosed and pretty original.

    Elation's story is revolved around a Brute Weapons Facility. That is why there are so many Spikers and Spike Grenades. The main feature of the map is the central battery. If you jump in your pretty much dead because you get trapped.

    I have gotten alot of nice reviews from Friends and other Players on this map. I drew out the design in school. The finished product turned up a bit different though. I like the finished map better than the one I drew. This is really not my best work, even though it isn't this map is incredible to play on and offers some nice gameplay and aesthetics. Can you find the hidden soccer ball? I put a soccer ball somewhere that is secret, I got the idea from the campaign skulls.

    Maybe you could interlock the man-cannons into the walls to they're aren't sticking out and sucking grenades out of the map (I know from experience).

    \/\/\/Short Guide\/\/\/
    -Put to the man-cannon to not spawn at start then
    -Put a fence wall against the wall the man-cannon was on
    -Make the original wall that is part of the map not spawn at start
    -Start a new round and force the man-cannon to spawn (mix/max options)
    -Move it to where you want against the fence wall
    -Set the man-cannon to spawn at start
    -Move or delete the fence wall
    -Force spawn the original wall
    -Set it to spawn at start

    Viola! Glowing blue wall, with none of the disrupting obstacles!

    I'd download and play, but my queue is full and I don't know when I can empty it. I'll be sure to remember this map so that I can come back and download it. It looks really good, and I'm anticipating the release of the rest of your Famine Map Pack.

    EDIT: Any chance we could get an overview of the map just so we can have a general idea of the layout? There aren't too really any pictures that show the entire map.

    The mancannons are supposed to be like that against the wall, it added lighting and for aesthetic effects.

    If you follow my guide thing, you can still get lighting from the man-cannons because they're just behind the wall. I did it in my map Scyphozoan, and a map I'm working on right now called Decima (except they're in the floor but whatever).

    You have too many Spikers and Plasma Rifles. Also, remove the shotgun or sword because it will over-power the map if you let them be.

    I like the design, it's really similar to Chipsinabox's map, Sapphire. You have a nice start to map making, but you can improve more. I suggest that you also put more rooms.

    Okay, they just seem to be out they way too much... You could follow my guide but place a pallet in front of the fence wall that way the sides poke out of the wall. I think something similar was done on Aerialis.

    I didn't just start map making. The only thing similar to Sapphire is the middle. It is not overpowered and I was going along with the Theme.

    But thanks for the niceness

    This looks pretty good, but some parts could be interlocked or interlocked better. Yeah it sort of reminds me of sapphire.

    Something though I don't like about this map and I can't figure out what it is. 3/5

    Looks good, but to be honest, it needs more interlocking, it's to plain and not detailed enough.

    Heyy mutual, nicee map. The design looks pretty cool, the only thing is one of the hallways, it looks like the walls are a little crooked, maybe there supposed to be like that im not sure. And i agreee, i think the mancanons are good the way they are, they add a nice look to it. Very good, 4/5 .!

    Yeah they are meant to be crooked.. I call it crooked hall(duh lol) Its one of the unique things.

    Thanks for the support on my man cannons lol.. I like them how they are.. I will be sure to comment on your maps once you release more. I have a couple more coming around the corner.
