Using the items in the scenery section that makes the halo theme song. Then you must stack them in a certain order in which the drawings on the side make a picture of another combination of items you must make. When you make those, it creates a tunnel that you drop into and the skull is inside it. Quote me on that. Not really though.
you could have a point there, i think the best bet is that it is somewhere of in the distance. possibly out in the shadows. im might get scared a little goin out there O__o!!!!oneoneone
Maybe we have to place a certain amount of objects on one post which will lower the raise another spot like a scale and you go down into the door for the skull.
Holy crap, what the hell is that bright ball of light?? Just kidding. But what is that red lighting just above the ramp structure? I think it's also on the left of the structure. I would assume it's from a spartan laser, but it doesn't seem quite right. Thoughts?
It's definately a spartan laser. Look closely and you see a blue spartan holding it. On the left side.
Yeah, I checked out the high-res and it's pretty clear. Tex, I acknowledged in my post that it's on both sides of the structure.
I think it's safe to say that those bunkers that are also in Sandtrap are broken down to 4 different parts on Sandbox. Just look right below where the Spartan Laser hit and you should see what I mean.
ok redearth, that would be cool and would be alot like Indiana Jones, but as much as i would like that i strongly doubt it. that would be a very interesting way of abtaining the skull.....now i was going to say something else, but nao i forget. sadfaic
and to think many people doubted bungie. This will be a large bonus for buying halo wars. can't wait.
still, if there is an undergroud, dont you think we would have seen some sort of entrance to it in at least one of those pics?
Building down could mean several things. It could be literal.. somehow Or it could just be us over-thinking it a little. I guess we'll see either Friday, or when the maps actually come out.
Yea.. I know.. its very conflicting. On one hand, all the pictures show that it is a simple and flat map. On the other hand, the wording of the interviews (and bungie's description as a tiered, open world map) would make you think otherwise. I'm undecided on this: I know it's not very likely and I won't be surprised when we see the blank map, but the gamer in me really wants an underground space.
I am sure (don't quote me) that for all of the new pics of Sandbox, there is at least one building/structure on either ends of the map. Until i see a canvas of Sandbox, i say there's a hole in the floor on either end connected underground, either covered up by the structures, or used as an entranceway.
So I just tried to judge it from the pictures but I figure the flat area on sandbox to be at least 15 double boxes long and about 8 wide, if anyone was wondering.
I removed the irrelevant tags. tags arent for fun and games, they are there to aid the search engine and help people locate things faster and easier Actually, Im pretty confident that they are adjustable. In the IGN article, Lars says something along the lines of "you can use the killball to set up areas that when touched, you will die" I bolded/underlined the improtant part. I don't think he would use those words if it was just an item you select then drop somewhere. setting up is more complex than placing. also from the IGn article, we know that we will have forge-able tunnels. My guess is, agreeing with another's POV using the pancake theory of the pit-area below, the ground floor we see now, and the sky box above, that the tunnels will clip through from the ground floor into the pit-like area below. Im thirsting for more info from Bungie. Hopefully with the BNet update on Friday and the IGn follow-up article scheduled for the 9th, we will know pretty much everything.
I havnt seen anything yet about it. You all were wanting lighting effects: ALSO: Kill ball text highlighted.. I geuss its forgable...
People have got to read up on everything they missed before they post, it's getting quite annoying. But I suppose on the subject of Kill Balls, I think it would be hilarious if they were as movable as Soccer Balls. Imagine.
