Death sentence

    Death Sentence is what i believe to be the first conquest map on epitaph on forgehub I hope you wll like it I think you will like it. I think it follows the conquest rules.


    Story: The tower of Hazack once a peacefull forerunner tower is now a huge warzone because of the the two armies fighting to control each territorry and eventually the whole tower. Which was once the peacefull Hazack tower is now known as the warzone death sentence.

    Spawn area looks pretty much the same for both teams (minus the already captured territorry.) There are two BRs and two spikes on the floor behind the flag.

    The second territorry houses a bruteshot. Looks pretty much the same on both sides.

    The middle territorry houses some cover and two plasma rifle. This is where USUALLY where most of the fighting happens

    The platform houses the custom power up and a plasma pistol and magnum and two the sides there are BRs. (dont worry i blocked off the elevator to the platform so no one team could get there easier.

    The smgs are on the little platforms that stick out of the sides of walkways. the same on both sides

    There is more flags just read the description of the pics. I distincly said same on the other side of the map in the dscription

    And the official Y35 if you don't change your post becuz it doesn't even relate to the map you can get infracted by the mods.

    I will add more pics for the people that don't read the pics description And I will block off the the two side paths in the middle.

    Conquest is about full out brutal force so why would someone take a different path if they can't capture the territorries. But if it makes people feel better then ok I will release V2 and it will have blocked paths.

    Many people rate maps on their looks but what actually matters is the gameplay. I gave some cover so you could actually get through without getting shot all the way back at the spawn point. Maybe I forgot the spawn points everyone has little mistakes that get highly critized. We all have had critism grow and stop being an asshole. Sorry if that offends you but isn't gameplay what maps are for? It seems that on forgehub everyone just cares about looks and not gameplay.

    Does anyone actually play the map before rating it sux because Map are about game play not looks.

    This map needs more description. From what you gave, it seems like there are three flags.

    wow. you guys dont lknow how o read do u? CONQUEST.
    the map looks pretty good. nice use of pre-DLC. i like conquest so ill DL. btw, whats different about this map? did u block anything off? could use a better description.
    4/5 for creativity but lacks in the thread, so can fully judge

    Well, I downloaded it and did a quick forge through because at first I ddin't think that this would be a conquest map. Now I still dont think this is a conquest map. I dont know why but there have been some "Conquest" maps that really are not conquest. A conquest map is a linear {only one path} battlefield that as the teams pushing foward to get the territories. This is not linear in any way. There are really no blocked off paths. The only thing you blocked off was ONE of the lifts. And you did it so that if someone went on it they were stuck there. Now in your post you said you blocked it off to give each team equal distance to the custom power up. Well, you blocked off the wrong lift. And to even have the power up on the platform is non-conquest because there are several routes to get there up to that platform. To me, you just slapped a lot of scenery objects in the center hallway {emphasizing it}, while the player could still take all the other routes that Epitaph has to offer.

    Another non-conquest type problem is that the territories are in a straight line. there are no turns or anything. Conquest maps need at least 2 turns. And my last point is spawns, or the lack of them. Seriously, why dont you take the time to place spawns for each team. I went into forge, scrolled over to forge and guess what, 100 spawn points were available for use.

    So if you are going to make a conquest map, at least make it right. Dont throw stuff down and call it conquest. If you haven't already, go to the Book Of Conquest and read it to see how to make a conquest map.

    yeah this needs a beeter dicrition and a theni will rate your map a little fuly
    i alos dont see any extorinary with with is so i wont
    down load sorry see yah later i veiw gain maybe
