CLIFFSIDE BY: CORRUPTON & TKD Sparten Download Here: Bungie.net : Bungie Online : Halo 3 File Details We named this map Cliffside for evident reasons. This is actually a sister map the my other map Olympium. Most players that commented said that more cover was needed on Olympium, I believe that players will find all the cover needed in Cliffside. Allthough it is a small map, Cliffside is perfect for 2v2 games and 4 person FFA. I would also like to add that unlike Olympium, Cliffside is very diffifcult to escape, making for a much more isolated feeling when playing. The snow that is under and next to the map is deadly and the barrier will kill you from certain points when trying to leave the map. The massive wall to the left of the map is covered in fullproof ways to keep a player inside the map. Truthfully I don't like this site because I made this thread so nice the first and the second time and they banned me when I was working on it then when I finished it the thread just disappeared after 3 hours of work. This map is a Asymetrical beauty, with all scenery colorcoated blue and red. I have a variety of weapons on this map but don't have time to list them because I'm sure I'm going to be banned soon again. Please tell me what you think and if you can escape. Hope you all enjoy and I don't mean to sound rude but I am really sick of working hard on this and losing all the work for something stupid. Also I'd like to add that my CORRUPTION account is not working cause of credit card problems, so I put the download on my other account that used to be my brothers. All my maps are on there including 3 others that were never posted.
This looks like an amazing map and all, but you do not have your post up to ForgeHub standards. You need a description and a download link. I love how you did this at the top of Avalanche. What is your GamerTag i want to download this.
Looks pretty amazing, after playing with some friends I found the gameplay was smooth but we did have a few issues with the grav lift but other than that this was a really fun map. 9/10

Wow this map looks amazing. I've never seen a map made up there before. There's some sloppy forging in some places... the floor in some places could be flatter... like on the third to last pic, the red boxes could be neater. Though I do like how all the boxes are red and blue. It gives it a more professional look. Could you give a weapon list and a description or something to get a better feel for the map? Also what gametypes? It looks fun for CTF. Thx. 4/5 and a DL

The map looks like it has nice clean interlocks and the structure of the map looks like it would play really smoothly Bad Points: What happens if you jump inside the map? hey,this map is geat,and very fun to play on. The interlockng is amazing and its so colorful,lol. It's very fun and interesting to play on with your friends. But it needs a description and a download link,I had to go to your fileshare just to get it.
I love these maps above maps! It takes so much talent, and tis map looks just as good as something you could make on Foundry! I find this absolutley incredible. Nothng I could change exept maybe less places to fall! 5/5 By the way, I dLed the sister map, too! Loved it!
Wow this is so cool. You sir definately have a nack for floating bases on Avalanche!Could you give a list of weapons on the map though? And I'm pretty sure you color coded the boxes blue and red or is that just pure coincidence? Overall GREAT Map!
Actually it was because I just happened to get banned while working on it over 3 hours, I have fastest internet avl. but I dont hate the site I just want people to know that I had two other versions of this thread that where way better and much more descriptive. That just dissapeared when i tried to post them because I was banned durring the time I was creating it.
Our rules are pretty self explanitory, (and in the top bar of the site). We have the most members out of any bungie related website to my knowledge, and spam threads are constantly posted because of this. If your a nub, we'll cut you some slack the first and maybe even the second time, but if it happens again, which I see that it has by your already warned status, the anvil falls. I read over some of your posts, and I can see that you aren't following them correctly yet. I would suggest reading them. If you don't like the fact that we have rules against that kind of stuff here, then fine. But we do, and you don't have to complain about it because it keeps the site in line and that's the way we want to keep it. The warned status goes away within a few days too, so don't kick yourself or quit the site because you had a few mishaps. As for the map, I like it. Must have been a ***** to make a map that floats like that and is interlocked.

So when you fall off the map platform do you hit some sort of death wall map barrier? Because if so, i'm definately going to make another monster jam up there, might even be a bigger platform than the last one.

this just blew my mind thought of doing this is incredible, ive always wanted to do something like this but out side of foundry on that lake thing but dont know how to i goive 10/10 plus +5 this just is so remarkable that it doesnt seem even possible to build

before I start, let me congratulate you on this massive feat. There is so much right with this map that i cant list it all, and it is a lot easier to list the few things that are wrong. I would love to see this map make it to a very competitive level, and feature worthy. 1-It is escapeable. I'm sure you already know about the red box that you can hang out in under the map (can you make it a closed one?), but there is also a way that you can get back to regular avalanche. If you destroy the grav lift by the OS and grenade jump to where it was you can land on the deathzone and still make it down in one jump. its not a huge flaw, but i thought you would like to know (ps, you left a BR in the attackers base of avalance) (just make the lifts instant respawn) 2- I like the color coding, but i can not explain to you how cool it would be if you kept the boxes consistant to one side, ie red base and blue base. 3- shield doors. some places they work- under the sniper tower. others they dont- lift to OS, back of the other base. 4- the tilted grav lifts arnt very professinal, let the players do the movement themselves. I found myself going in strange directions, especialy under the OS. 5-weapons are generaly good, even, well spaced, ect... but I would do something to even out the sniper. something as simple as placing a set of fusian coils at the top could do the trick, or possibly putting the sniper at the lower part of the snipe tower so that they have to walk a little distance with it before they get the vantage point. I really liked how the inviz was placed and the weapons helped the map flow. 6- i know you are limited in rescorces, but the bright hillside is really distracting. could you put the bright doors as map bariors as opposed to a part of the main map? overall this is a very solid forge, interlocks and merges are above par, so is the weapon placement. To take this map to the next level, try teaming up with some of the higher ranking forgehub members who have had multiple maps featured, and are masters of interlocking and everything else for that matter. You've got a good amount of attention by putting together such a unique yet still competitve map like this, use this attention to get some help on the map that will get this map featured. best of luck, -mac
