how is this going to be a forge map unlike no other? i mean theres something there already!, it would be like trying to forge on a medium sized sand trap that has structures in it!, unless we can actually make terrain, then we could pave right over it, that would be cool
All those objects on screen are deletable. Like Foundry's original layout. If you delete everything you will just get a flat (Sandy) surface.

Keep it clean would be a reference to ODST. The map does seem to match the textures in Sandbox. Could be a previous default layout design that they then changed. Or something they built specifically for that purpose. It will be revolutionary but not in as grand a scale as the little kids keep wanting to think.
It is, ofcourse, a forging map. I don't see how everyone is missing the fact that they could have built the set.
That's not what I've been dreaming. All I've seen in my dreams is Shiska and Urk dancing on top of a beach. Then my brain zooms out and I realize that it's not a beach, but is actually an infinite tower of pancakes upon which thousands of tiny spartans are running.
After seeing what people can make on Foundry, I can't even imagine what people from ForgeHub.com will make with Sandbox!
All i know is that I can't wait for this to come out. I don't care what it is, as long as it's something new!

At least a Halo Wars demo is going to be released soon so I will be able to find out if Halo Wars LE is really worth it for Mythic. Hooray! I just see it as a sweet game that is coming with my $79.99 Mythic Map Pack. EDIT: sorry this was a sort of spam. my bad. but to keep this on Sandbox I can say that I am more excited for it, than I am for Halo 3: ODST. But once it's about May or June then I will be super excited for ODST.
Yo guys, I think that other person was joking. Wait, so only the limited edition Halo Wars comes with the Mythic Maps? Just as long as Sandbox comes with a higher ceiling, I'm gud.
Sandbox will be quite the revolution, indeed. However, there is one thing that sparked my attention....It seems like the textures shown in screenshot of Sandbox are of a slightly lower quality than most Halo 3 maps.... It could just be me..... There's obviously more than meets the eye with Sandbox....after all, not every map has choppers on their default layout, so it must be larger than it seems....
I understand that it has been mentioned numerous times but really, look at these two objects i've circled, they look like the annoying little boundry lights that flip my warthog everytime I'm on Sandtrap.
You have to realize that sandbox is still being tweaked. Of course its not the best quality yet, but just wait.
i thunk the map looks too small, idk, i dont really like the textures or building block things, i would of been happier with a bigger foundry with more, high ground, style detail objects.
