Snow Day? Tomorrow? ORLY?

I had a snow day last week. It was awesome, it was still snowing the next day but we had to go anyway. I didn't really pay attention, because all of the rooms have windows lol.

 

Yeah, I've had 5 snow days this year already. I'm hoping for a snow day tomorrow too. Unfortunately, it might mean that I'll be in school 'til the end of June if this keeps up. :'(

 

We never get snow days. My first class starts at 10:30AM so I get to sleep in a while anyway..

My last class ends at about 5:30, if you were wondering.

 

I've only had one snow day my whole life and i was in pre-school and it was on St. Patricks day! Btw i live in Canada!

 

Pssh... I wish I had snow days like people living in the north. Where I live it almost never snows. We got lucky last year and got out for a day but by noon almost all the snow melted.

 

I had two days off last week (tuesday and wednesday), but they were because of ice. It hasn't snowed any, except for flurries, which is strange since it has usually snowed once or twice by now in Virginia.

 

We had an should-be snow day. It was really terrible, the roads were a mess, it snowed a foot or so in less than an hour, accidents everywhere, but our superintendent was somewhere off in Florida (as usual) so we didn't get a snow day.

 

Like i said i live in canada which is kind of north i suppose but i'm in grade 10 and only had one snow day, it's extremly rare where i live.

EDIT: actually i look on my citys board of education site and we arn't even aloud to have snow days anymore

 

Hah. That blows. We had a snow day last week. Well, technically, it wasn't even a snow day. It was a Cold Day. School was canceled because it was -7 Degrees (Fahrenheit, for all you Brits out there.) out.

 

I had a snow day last wednesday in Delaware. It snowed all tues night and it was freezing rain wed morning so everything was solid ice. Then i had an inservice day thurs. It was awesome.

 

Last week we got some heavy wet snow. It only totaled about four inches, but nonetheless it was a pain in the ass to shovel off the walkway. Snow day on Wednesday, then a 2 hour delay Thursday, which I skipped. I believe that was the third snow day for my district. And I wouldn't mind another.

 

I had an Aloha Friday. It's a bit like Snow Days, except that it's every last Friday of the month, and most schools get a shorter day. Then we all just go cruise at the tourist shops and laugh at them when they try out pineapple pizza.

I had yesterday off of school becuase of the trechourous snow conditions.
Basically, lots of deep snow - the depeset in 18 years for England. Or at least the South-East of England. (I'm on the outskirts of London.)

The news just came through this morning that we're off again, it's a good week =D
Plus, I miss German coursework and a Chemistry test. I love the snow.
Yesterday was awesome in the snow, hoping today will be too.

 

If it snows in Brisbane Australia then hell probably froze over.....wait huh?

 

I live in Cardiff too, its been snowing a lot but our school is almost the only school in the country to be open, its ridiculous. Lucky enough I over slept so I still get a snow day.

The snows beginning to melt but I what annoys me so is that a snow day will take of our days off, for example, say if we have 10 inset (sp?) days off, and we have a snow day. That means we will only have 9 days off, so theres no way of winning

update: Snow has come again, pretty heavily as well, I'm guessing you might be sent home Boyd.

They called our day off a snow day, and the roads were just kinda icy. Then it snow the next but we had to go to school. Texas weather is gay.
