just saw something... there is visibly 7 ramps on the close base, 7 x 2 (cause it's symmetrical) = 14... and since wes ain't had 14 of an object yet, I'm guessing we get 16 ramps... ****ing epic win...
If you look at the size difference of the Warthogs it is actually quite a bit bigger than foundry. No retarded crane, no silly office rooms and decks. No roof. Possibilities, endless. I think I am finally beginning to eagerly anticipate this map. I just had a thought to what those light orbs might be. You see in the pick the pillars with blue shapes in the middle of them running up and down on the blue base and the same on the red base? The light orbs could be like the legendary effects but gives only certain areas that hue and controls what colour those features in the pillars are. Something akin to banners? No more interlocking A and B signs or Overshields and Invis to designate sides visually?
Could be 24 ramps too guys... and 48 double boxes <3 I still don't think this is everything..I think there is more too it..
No worries figured as much @matty: I was thinking it near almost double foundry. Those ramps look long, and the hogs look tiny. Well near double foundry square anyway. (lol thats why it wouldnt..)
Except rectangular rather than squareish. I just noticed something else, if you enlarge the pic you can see some of those light post things that sandtrap has that mark the begining of the landmine field. They are quite a ways out there. Pretty much right on the order into the shadow. Very interesting race maps indeed.
Ramps are the same size as stairs in Foundry dude. Their is also an L shaped tunnel in each base, going from the front to the chopper side. Theres a gap in the slanted wall on both chopper sides that cuts short, because there is a door there.
Not I think they are longer. Compare the mongoose. The stairs on foundry are only just barely over two mongeese long. These ramps are nearly three. Also I think you have the geometry of the bases wrong. To me they look like two seperate structures connected by a wide platform. The frint sides being of those tapered boxes with hallway down the middle that is opens up when it T intersectiones out to both sides. The ramps where the mongeese are parked being the only way up to the second floor then over the platform to the two paralell ramps that lead to the top of the bases. EDIT: Another thing I just noticed. Looks like a speed bump between the two blue Monoliths. You can see the curve outline of the top of it on the left monolith. That could be usefull. Very narrow bridge.
