I'm actually sick though, so maybe I'll have something to lighten my fever tomorrow at least figuratively.

I am guessing that sandbox will have energy blockers like avalanche, so geomerging will not be a problem for you door fanatics.
even if theres no update on the map tomorrow, im just psyched to finally have a picture and a basic idea of what we're going to finally have. alot of people have expressed dislike for the default layout, should that be what we're seeing, but i really like it actually. The simplicity may lend itself to interesting and intense gameplay. The harder a map is to understand, sometimes the harder it is to enjoy.
It looks pretty good to me. I'll be honest, I actually liked Foundry (past the white rooms and back areas being ridiculously dumb, and the power weapon spawns too quick) default, I'm hoping Bungie can do it again. It's really tough to make something work for everything, be simple, and at the same time have depth to the game. I'm also really hoping they don't do another 'tomb' objective area like in Sandtrap, I just hate that area. The camp possibilities are just epic on Sandtrap.
I wasnt a fan of sandtrap... to me this is what sandtrap shouldve been. When looking at the pictures, its pretty clear where the flags will roughly be. The new addition of ramp pieces and dumpster sized blocks makes me super happy. ill tell you that.
I really thought it was cool how at first everyone used the whole map, then we blocked off the back area, then when geomerging was fully developed, the back rooms/hallways were the focus of maps. Everyone is merging walls and signs in the back room/hallway in recent maps. Take Remedy for example, the map is in the back area that used to be blocked off in maps, maybe something similar to this will happen on Sandbox when more forging techniques are founded.
I don't see the connection to Sandbox. Are you talking about those structures in that picture that may be default? I don't see how you could use that, other than adding on.
Something I was just thinking: With AZN's randomization thing, think of the possibilities we could go to on this map. A massive scale, randomized Peasant Hunt, with multiple lives, that would be epic, or maybe a Tremors game that plays different every game, there's so many possibilities with a bigger sized map than Foundry.
Well, I was referring to the possibilities of a larger sized Foundry combined with the randomization effect AZN FTW has recently published. I think it could make for some games that are interesting every round.
