Oh boy, forgehub needs to prepare itself for the oncoming tide. Is this confirmed as sandbox cause people are typing like it is but I havn't heard anything about it. Your the only one who doesn't seem to be but maybe your being smart and not getting your hopes up.
Its been on their official images for hours. All we know for sure is that it is indeed Sandbox, most likely the default layout [much like foundry], and the pieces shown are deleteable. Anything else posted is speculation/wishful thinking.
how are you sure that they are deleteable? is that speculation based on the fact that there seem to be cracks?
you are correct that it is also speculation, but there is some solid evidence. Each piece is seperated by cracks, yes, but the sand on the ground is a texture on the ground... it goes right under the bases like its not even there, as opposed to sandtrap, which has sand blown all around the edges of the objects. Additionally, Urk was quoted as saying "It looks like the cup of a carpenter".
well the objects don't seem to form with the ground like normal bungie maps (except foundry) so thats why I'm guessing they can be deleted.
The idiocy in this thread needs to stop, seriously. Most anything about this map is speculation, except for the fact that there is a screen of it. Hell, it could be a goddamn photo within the map for all we know, if you are going to nitpick that much. Thing is, it is true that there is already a thread for this. At first, I was fine with this thread being opened, but people are being idiots hence it needs a lock.
Copied and pasted from my MLGpro post. Also, all of this is my opinion, not fact. If this is the permanent layout, then I'm not impressed. Good find though, and it definitely looks legit. However, I'm still hoping (as are many others) that this is just an example layout and that this map will be a forgers heaven. I LOVE forge, and if this is the final layout, I will be very disappointed. EDIT: Okay, so after looking closer at the picture, I am completely sure that this is not the permanent layout. Everything is just... oh, I don't know it just doesn't look like a Bungie map. It's too simple and the layout looks unprofessional. I really think that this will be a blank canvas for forge. EDIT 2: *Note. I wasn't the one to find the following*: If you look at the bases, you can see cracks. What does that mean? That means that the bases are made of a lot of boxes that have bee put together. I'm POSITIVE that this will be a fully forgable map. There are a lot of other clues, but I won't bother posting them again. __________________
