Oh contraire. I call it the Pancake Theory. I mean, after all, it was urk who posted about the iHopness in the first place. I don't know, I'm still leaning towards Sandbox is just Sandbox, but you know, anything can happen.
If that is default sanbox................ :-( There also may be a few default maps put out there at the begining.
Conkerkid11's Sandbox Post Yes, this is the Conkerkid11 and I'm here to tell ya'll what I think about this whole Sandbox picture catastrophe! Believed To Be Default Sandbox: Yes this is Sandbox, and I know this because it has the "Bungie" logo on the bottom right! These are some new things that I have noticed in the picture that may prove it is still this: Believed To Be Sandbox Canvas: They both do look very similiar and if you may notice that this structure the man with the sticky is standing in looks very similiar to the structures in the top picture! Notice the same gridlike system in the first picture and the second? Very interesting eh? Some New Things That I Noticed: The objects still look very similiar to the ones on Avalanche and Foundry, just lighter, and more desert like The objects look very placeable, notice the lines in between each object, this means that Bungie once again failed to interlock, lolz All we see now are 2 mongooses and a warthog on each side but this still means that we can prevail our racetrack making needs Notice the blue orb floating over one base and the red one over the oposite base? Either these are filters like in the maps on the Legendary Map Pack, or these are base indicators. Either way, they both would be awesome to have on an all forge map The gridlike system underneath the sand looks like this was a forged map The minefield, this might lead to us being able to place death barriers or hazard zones The sun is placed halfway noticeable, proving that time of day will be changeable due to the second picture being the sandbox canvas I am hoping to god that all of what I said above is true and if it is... notice how good this map is!? Wouldn't you give this a 5/5? Forgehub is going to transform big time when this hits... New forging techniques and all. Let's just pray that this map is as great as it seems. And for all you overlookers who say "Oh noez it's smaller Sandtrap! In teh dark!" look past that, the hints are all around you! This is Sandbox, this is what we saw in the second picture. EDIT: Right click the first picture and go to properties. It says environment 1. This only further proves what I have stated in the bullet points. EDIT 2: Let's all hope that Bungie puts doors on this map, otherwise geomerging is going to be a pain in the neck! Ya'll remember how Avalanche was? We want doors, yes we do.
I fail to see how the structure shown in the acceptance speech is similar to the structures in Sandbox. Or perhaps I should acquire a pair of reading glasses. lolwut?
Such a party pooper, always pooping on the party. I only think it looks similiar because it doesn't. Get it? Well let me explain. Foundry has basic objects that seem like they were created by humans, however this is Forerunner. They are different, making them belong on Sandbox. Me thinks that Sandbox will include both Forerunner and other objects to be placed on the map. I say it is similiar because it isn't...
they are similar because of the symbol on the corners. Also the outline looks quite like a double box to me. thats the relation i got, i posted it on here to get other people's input
Speculation is dumb for now. What we see is a map. The default layout. What we can also see is that the pieces are removeable. The sand on the floor goes right under the blue team base. This is all we know. The end until Bungie says otherwise. The rest is made up unrealistic wishes.
I am lollin. Just wait for tomorrow guys. Bungie will not disappoint (hopefully). In the meantime, let's get some pancakes.
If Bungie doesn't say anything tommorow, I'm going to cry. Although I am very excited about the party we get to have at school tommorow because I'm going to eatz all teh cookiez! I would hate to come home and find out that Bungie posted another stupid update on Halo 3: ODST... I mean, nobody cares! That game comes out in Fall, we want to hear about what we are about to buy in a few weeks!
Looks like it might be more than a few weeks unless you're buying Halo Wars. I personally can't wait for Halo Wars as well as Mythic. At first I thought it would be crap but it looks like it might be entertaining. Oatmeal Raisin or Chocolate Chip?

I loved Starcraft and although this isn't Blizzard that is making Halo Wars, I still have high hopes for it and am going to get the limited addition so I can get teh Mythic Map Pack and an awesome Strategy Game! All types of cookies! But mostly Chocolate Chip!

Is it just me or does the supposed default sandbox map look way too simple? Nothing interesting about it. Could be a good thing but leaves me skeptical. Bungie doesn't do simple maps. Also if you have a better look you'll see Choppers. If this is the forge map we all hope it is, tremor and mouse will become very interesting.
