    So excited.

I went to see "The Day The Earth Stood Still" and saw this preview, if you haven't seen it, go here:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E4blSrZvPhUI was amazed.
    I wanted to learn more.
I then researched on the internet, an obvious choice, and found out that this was a movie based off the graphic novel series: Watchmen. This isn't just any comic book though, this is one of "Times Magazine's: 100 top novels from 1928 to present"

    I was intrigued.
After school the next day, I stopped by the local Hastings and went in to find to my excitement a book containing all 12 "chapters" of the watchmen series.

    I read.
    And I am still reading.
I love it so far, and I am really excited for the movie.
This is one of the best comic books I have ever read.

If you have no clue what watchmen is, here is a summary brought to you by Wikipedia:
If you want some more info, here's the link to the wikipedia huge explanation.

    What do you guys think?
    Already knew about it?
Think it's gonna be a typical super hero movie?
I can't would die if i had to wait any longer.

I saw a different Watchmen trailor when I saw Valykrie last week. For those who know nothing of it, the trailor I saw would make the movie look really corny.

Oh btw, your sig is way too big. Resize it.
    500x200 pixels is the limit.

    Old.

I hate all you Watchmen newbies.
    Thinking you're so cool.
    **** you all.
If you weren't alive and reading Watchmen in 1986, then you are a total loser.
    End of story.

hmmm, Well I dont know why you would have to be alive in 1986 to not be a total loser, but I am new to Watchmen, but you see the movie is new, and I am not normally checking for what comics are out. I mostly watch movies, that is my main form of entertainment. Sorry that im not 30 years old...

If you don't read comic books, you're also a total loser.
    Comic books > Movies.
Sweet Christmas, what is the world coming to?

(If you got the Sweet Christmas reference, you're not a total loser.)

Rofl, yah seriously in australia in a zoo, there was a duck who was designed/trained to keep people off the grass.

my friend saw it and said: "Ohh, a duck!" and walked towards it to pet it when it unleashed its pwnage on him.

    It made me lmao.

    btw sweet pic of rorschach.

I can't wait to see this film. Still a little confused by what it's about. It better not be another disappointment like The Day The Earth Stood Still was...

definitely. but the comic that it based off of is epic so far, as I'm about 2/3's of the way through the 12 chapter series.

I really love how they intergrate politics into a super hero film, because quite frankly.. it's never adressed. It'll be interesting to see how this movie plays out. Has the legal battle been settled regarding this movie yet?
