conquest Protocol V.2 Protocol V.2 this is the re-worked version of the first one i posted. i took ur guys suggestions and hopefully fixed all problems i got rid of the shield doors on the center platform. I made the Sniper boxes smaller, it now only holds 1. and i also got rid of sum of the weapons since it waz a little overloaded. This map is ment to play CTF,Territories, and Assault i recommend about 4 vs. 4 Map is completely symetrical Download link: Link to Map Link to my original protocol Version 1: Protocol V.1 Pics Quick overview of map made on paint- just 2 help u understand map: This is one of the two starting points: hallway outside of starting point looking into second room ( the door in back leads to that teams sniper box): Against the back wall of second room( left hallway leads to center and right hallway leads to starting point): one of the two new smaller Snipe Boxs: The new central platform over the death pit (the middle barrel will be held down by the goal points (ex... territory, flag,bomb...)): Pic of the cieling i would have used walls or bridges but i had none left ( besides i have never seen sum1 use shield doors as the cieling- im not sayin it hasnt been done b4 just sayin i've never seen it) Custom power up is in the center of it. ps-- looks better in game:
Interesting map. Can Team Slayer be played on this? Otherwise, I'm going to give it another look through and I'll edit this post with my review. woot? ^_^
i suppose it can ,but all respawns are in the starting bases since i made this 4 conquest actually im pretty sure i set it so all gametypes work except maybe goalpoints for jugurnaut and vip just the ones were u have 2 get 2 certain goalpoints. regular jugg. and vip should work
You made this for conquest? Nice forging but here's one problem I see. According to your diagram, it looks like the only territory that would ever actually be fought for is the center. The other two territories on each side seem like they would be unachievable for the opposing team.
no the center is not the only one that is fought 4 i played it while back and the fighting waz mainly in center and the 2 side rooms(with the tele doors)
I got a few friends together and played this, it is pretty great, takes time to get used to the concept, but I love it, and my friends did too.
looks like it would be a cool ctf game. It might play better if there was 2 ways into the base instead of 1 maybe an extra hallway from the middle room to each base. 3.5/5
I really enjoy these types of maps, but you probably should have waited, wait, cut that, posted it in the conquest map submission. I mean sure, it works for other game types, which I have yet to play, except fer slayer, but you originally designed it for conquest, and that's what you should of posted it under.
nice map but the layout seems a little to plain maybe next time if you do a v3 add something new but other than that the interlocking and geomerging is great even if there is now geomerging great job 9/10
