Current sig with links. What do you all think? I tried to find the Universal CnC thread, but it was no where to be found D= Anyways, go easy on me, this was something I worked up really quickly, and on top of that, I don't do sig's but once in a blue moon.
The shadows on the top look cheesy, I don't like how its all embossed, and the text is just plain boring and unnoticeable. The red is fairly rough, it doesn't look smooth, the brushes go over the embossed border, and it cuts off to suddenly in a lot of places.
Aw, I won't get to see my handiwork anymore Well, it's not bad but a huge problem is that the text is dull and VERY hard to see. Work on making the text the focal.
it looks pretty cool but i can barely read the text in the background because the main image is very distracting unless thats what you were trying to get at. but hey for someone who doesnt do sigs very often thats pretty good. better than the ones i had before!
The text was meant to look hidden. @reaper: The shadows at the top that bunny says look cheesy are there just because I was using a continued image. & I don't care that much about a little bit of shadow on the top of the sig. Not that big a deal to me. As for the "brushes" there are no brushes used in the image. It's just one main image edited over n over. Which is why the "red is fairly rough." Oh and the "going over the embossed border" part, I kind of did it on accident, looked at it, and liked it. So I left it. Oh and as for the text, the text wasn't even originally in this image, as it was made as a banner for my blogger. I just kinda liked the way it turned out, so I turned it into a sig.
I understand what you're going for by making the text look hidden, but in this instance, I don't think it's a smart choice. For a banner, you want the text to be very bright and visible so that people see it and are drawn in. Otherwise, if they just scroll by it thinking that it's a signature, your banner has failed in its purpose.
I think its pretty good for what was intended, you didn't try to go over the top or anything but it got me to look at your Youtube and blog.
The "banner" had no text. You may have misread my previous post, or I may have explained it horribly. What I meant was the image I have created was intended for my blogger; which I personally don't like the way it contrasts with my blogger, but that is a whole different story; anyways, the image didn't have text originally, and it was no part of the plan. It was just an add-on that was done rather carelessly to the banner.
I understand that, but what I'm trying to say is that if you want to advertise your blog and youtube, you're not doing it very well because the text is hard to read.
