Boarded!

Here You Can Download Boarded...

Bungie.net : Bungie Online : Halo 3 File Details

"A Covenant Scout has boarded a major UNSC A-Class Frigate. Fight `em off. 6-16 Players. by Xx Ell 93 xX"

Supported Gametypes

Team Slayer
FFA

Map Description:
Boarded! is a 2 sided map with one side for the covenant & one is for the UNSC. Origanally, Boarded was first made for team slayer (6-8 per team) & FFA (Although FFA isn't entirely recommended for it).I Started Boarded! on 27.10.08 and finished on 1.11.08. Unfortunately i havn't fully tested it yet but i have played it with one other person.

Here is the Battlefield (Center). It is relatively thin but long & there is a hidden-ish ghost halfway through it.

Here is The Covenant Side. It has Ghost drop pods (walk up the stairs and drop into the ghost. It also has a Wraith turret (for those who dont know what one is it is a wraith stuck in a position & can't be moved only shoot).

Last but not least here is the UNSC side, this screenshot shows slightly at the bottom a entranceway to 3 mongooses & through the stairs leads 3 teleporters, one leads to the center, another to the UNSC weapons & one to the UNSC Equipment.

Hey, and welcome to ForgeHub. Here at ForgeHub it is required that you have at least one of your pictures embedded in your map post. If you do not know what that means, or how to do it, follow this:

Embedding Screenshots in your Map's Thread

Part 1: Taking a screenshot.

Sorry, no pictures for this section, don't have a capture card, but it is soo easy, I shouldn't need to explain, but I will.
1. After recently playing your map, go to "Theater Mode".
2. Select the match you played, and "Start Film".
3. Press "Y" after film has started, and pause the game (or not), and position your camera.
4. Click the camera symbol on the navigation bar.
5. Save it.
6. Now onto...

Part 2: Getting your screenshot off of Bungie.

1. Open up your Internet Browser (I use Firefox) and go to our dearly belovedBungie.net, and go to My Stats/Find a Player.

2. Then, go to the right of the screen, to "People Finder". Make sure that it is set to Halo 3, and type in your Xbox-Live Gamer tag. Then click "Search"

3. You should then being on your Gamer Tag profile. Go to and click "Hi-Res screenshots".

4. Find the Screenshot you wish to embed, and click on it. Also, make sure pop-ups are allowed from Bungie.net.

5. A large version of the screenshot should come up in a separate window. Again, click the screenshot.

6. This should come up, asking you what program to open the screenshot with, or to save it to disk. For simplicities sake, just check off "Save to Disk" and the click "OK".

7. Depending what your preferences are, the picture could be saved to a number of places, if you are using Firefox, then this should come up. Click "Open" on the top one, which is more than likely the screenshot you are looking for.

8. An image viewing program displaying the screenshot should come up. Click the save option, in this case a floppy disk icon.

9.Save your image as a JPEG file, under a folder and name you can find later. Type the name in and click "Save".

10. Congrats, now you have your screenshot on your computer. Now onto:

Part 3: Signing up for a Photobucket account, and uploading your screenshot to the internet.

1. Start by opening your internet browser, and going to Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket. Why Photobucket? Cause I find that Imageshack is a pain and people seem to get nothing but thumbnail pictures from it, if they do try to embed their screenshots. Once there, click "Join Now" cause IT'S FREE!

2. Type in a username, and a password that you can remember. Then click "Next Step".

3. Now fill the form out, when you are done, click "I accept. Sign me up!"
Note that none of that information is true to me. That is not my name, or birthdate, or anything.

4. Follow instructions from there.

5.Go to Login on Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket, type in your username and password, and then click "Login".

6. You should now be in your album. Find the section in the middle of the screen like the one below, and click "Choose Files", and make sure the size is set to 640x480.

7. An "Open File" window comes up. Now find your screenshot where you saved it, click on it, and then click "Open". Note that you can select more than one image before click "Open" by clicking your first image, and then (while holding down the SHIFT key) click on the other images you wish to add.

8. Give it time to save the screenshot on the internet. Click "Cancel" to stop uploading.

9. When it is done, this screen will come up. Give it a title and a description, or just skip that, and click "save and continue"

10. And now your screenshot is on the internet, ready to be embedded.

Part 4: Embed your image in your post.

1. Go to your "my albums" on your photobucket page, which is located in the top navigation bar. Then, scroll down the page until you find your screenshot.

2. Click on the text in the space next to "IMG Code". This will automatically copy that link to your clipboard.

3. Go to post your Map Thread, and right click/Paste the IMG code (an image code is the direct link url of an image, in between [./img], but without the ".")
[IMG]http://i117.photobucket.com/albums/o46/onlykaproductions/embed6.jpg

4. Yay!

Curtsy of Sweeny Todd : Original Post: http://www.forgehub.com/forum/halo-forge-maps/18644-embed-screenshots-your-map-thread.html

You have 24 hours to do this or else your thread will be locked. This is ample time to do so however, and should take no more than five minutes if you arleady have a Photobucket account.

Do you know how to geomerge and interlock? Anyway on to the map. It's ehhh ok-ish The layout looks pretty original and gameplay looks fun but you need to fix a lot of things. First off, in Foundry, always flip the boxes. it makes the floor a lot smoother and also looks better. Also learn how to interlock if you don't already know how... and use it. No offense but this is one of the sloppier maps i've seen in a while. But that can be fixed. if you want to, FR me (gt same as username) and i'll help you fix it up. I'll give you a 2/5 for an awesome looking layout.

unfortunately, this map looks... eh... sub par... i guess. there is an extreme lack of interlocking. check out Forging 101 for some tips. you should also straighten out the crooked walls. it's not hard to do, and leaving a wall so slanted is just lazy. anyway, 2.5/5. keep on forging.

i REALLY like the general layout of the map... but for the most part it looks good for no interlocking or geomerging the only thing i would suggest interlocking/geomerging is when u use a double wall for a ramp like in pic 2 mostly cuz if its not geomerged into the ground you have to jump onto the wall and that can get annoying but i definately like the map :) good job!

i think u have lots of potential and u should keep forging :D

This is a rather vague suggestion and something a bit more constructive might have been more useful. For starters, I would make your post more informative of the gameplay and, well, just more. Judging by your pictures, the map looks unbalanced too. Maybe just delete some of the ghosts or have more weapons to counter them. But in the meantime, just spruce up your post.
