My dad set up a censor filter on the router that keeps me from going to gaming sites and all that stuff, so i asked my friend to help me get around it. But he used this thing called Tor, and it runs really slow, but he doesn't know what else he can do. its really irritating because i cant google anything, does any of you guys know how to fix my problem?

In Tor, you're connecting through a bunch of other connections to get to your site. The problem is, the more connections you get, the slower your browser becomes. There's not much you can do to solve this, other than edit the configuration file and remove some node listings.

    TLDR, put up with it.

Edit: It's okay, we all look at porn some times. Like, say, DQ.

Ew, an insite proxy. Those are horrible. Full of ads and slower than just connecting to a transparent or Socks proxy.

    Get Steganos VPN :D

If you're not that cool, then tell us what program he is using? That'll help.

I don't know, it's whenever I go on my network with any device (wireless too) then it gets blocked. But if I jump on any other network, it's fine.

He blocked you from the router settings, seems like. Yeah, unless you can get into the browser page (192.168.1.1) with a password, you can't do anything about it.

Not Vtunnel. That's the stupidest ****ing proxy that can even be called a proxy. It's slow, ad filled, and loads a popup every time you click.

Yes, go to 192.168.1.1 through your web browser and try these settings:
    Username: admin
    Password: admin
Those are the default settings for your router. It's worth a try. If it works, you can look around for any parental control or filter settings to change.

If I'm not mistaken I believe either the username or password is admin1.

That's how it was with my router, although I don't know too much about this stuff.

If I'm not mistaken, I'm pretty sure you can hold the reset button on the router to reset the settings.

Yeah, but where is the fun and intrigue in that?

Plus, I think that might also reset/delete your existing networks that run off that router.
