I was proud. I finally finished my map after about 45 hours. It was awesome. I saved. I went to customs. It was not there. I went to forge. It was not there either. It is gone. Anyone has an idea how I can get it back? Please...
maybe you could go into some more detail on what happened before it disappeared. you should try checking your recent maps in the custom games or forge lobby.
hmm... I think your pretty much out of luck there. Thats why I always have at least two versions of a finished map on my harddrive. One as a Final, the other for if I need to fix anything like spawns and such.
This happened to me when i built Vertebraille actually... It just disappeared. I went to the dashboard and viewed my memory, and the file was there under Halo 3, but when i loaded up halo 3, there was nothing. Basically: You are **** out of luck. You have to rebuild from scratch. My tips: Save ALOT. Save as new map occasionally. DO NOT name the file the exact same thing you named it before. That maybe a reason it disappeared.
sh--. I had like 9 versions of it, but I deleted the ones before because I had 100 custom things. ... New map started.
Ok if you were using budget glitch than i may know what happened to you. ok one time i was playing a foge match and y35 joined so i saved and quit but not realizing it when you save with someone else in your party when using the budget glitch it just deletes your map luckily i had the map in recent custom games maps. That may have been your problem.
My sister deleted my map. It was the only one I had ever completed, the whole reason I joined the site was to post it. ;_;
