This looks like it has been improved a lot, but it's hard to tell from the screenshots, i'll have to download it and find out. P.S this looks great for predator oh and sorry for not replying i dont go on forgehub much.
Man, this map looks nice. I've never really taken to liking maps with objects thrown about but this map is really good. You organized it in a way that allows it to be playable and fun. Good job, and I'll rate it a 5/5
Just looking at the pictures makes me want to play infection on this map. Currently I am making a map called Life or Death v1. It will be out soon. Join the Halo Crusades http://www.halocrusades.com/index.php?p=page&x=11130
dont advertise what game types would you suggest besides infection? and how long did the main pile take you to make? did you just make a pile and then made a map our made a map that looked like a pile of crap? try submitting this for the lazy map makers? and one more thing for the record plasma pistol+pistol=epic win
Gametypes: Anything works. FFA games are awesome; Slayer, Crazy King, and Fiesta Slayer are epic when played on this map. As for team games, I'd definitely say Territories, One Flag, and One Bomb. The main pile took around five minutes to make, but I continually tweaked it as I progressed with the map. Five minutes gave me the rough draft, but I wouldn't doubt it if 90% of the objects were turned/moved in some way from their original positions during the entire process (to make it playable and somewhat easier to navigate). The whole map took around 70 or so hours of Forge/playtesting time to finalize, which is more than most maps posted in Casual. The map was built around the pile. Do you honestly think I have the patience to imagine a map layout and then build junk around it? XD I wish I had that kind of patience. Maybe I'd finish more of my maps... As for LMC, this doesn't qualify because I had to use the budget glitch, unfortunately.
Does not seem very original. The only difference between me forging for 5 minutes and this map is you added weapons and spawn points. But on a positive note the map does entertain for a while. I hate to say but good job, just next time try to put more thought into your next map. 3/5
Wow... This map, is like a compilation of frustration and anger. It's like you just went mad and just threw a whole lot of objects in the map. But i notice you interlocked the objects as well, so you have put some thought in this map. The blue box is what amazes me the most, how'd you do it?
The blue box is supposed to amaze you. I'm glad it did! Unfortunately I can't reveal the secret behind the blue box to anyone at the moment, seeing as it would lose its mystique. I'm sure if you mess around with it in Forge you'll be able to figure it out tho. And yes, I have put thought into this map. I designed it to have a fairly high uncertainty factor, which makes gameplay more spastic and random than on most maps (that's why it's posted in casual). Thanks for the positive comment!
It's the same as the blue door in the back hall of foundry. Tilt the door at the right angle, and only blue lighting hits it, turns the box all blue. Try tilting a door slightly in the back middle hall of foundry. You'll see it turn blue too. Or at one of the 4 doorways into the hall, there it turns black.
Exactly. It has to do with the lightmaps present on default Foundry. In the instance of the Blue Box, the blue lights underneath the fencing of the default Foundry bases are guilty for making the box its signature deep blue color. I also know of browning spots, a couple of blacking spots, and a couple of spots that turn a box red as well. I'm sure there are others too!
I had an idea like this but when i tried to build it my brither hit me so good job. I really like this. And can you do it on sand box?
Nooks & Crannies 3 just might be on Sandbox. As for when I'll be making it, I haven't the faintest idea. I'll make the third and final Nooks & Crannies map sometime this summer probably, but it will only come about when I've exhausted any and all other map ideas. It may end up on Foundry though; the cluttered feel doesn't seem like it would work particularly well on Sandbox. You wouldn't expect a pile of megaliths so much as a pile of cargo and dumpsters.
holy it looks like everything is placed randomly but when you play these maps they actualy flow smoothly, 5/5
i love it! the whole "forgot to pay the gravity bill" is a great idea. the forging is well thought out and i belive this would be a great addition to the infection maps as well as a semi competative map! the only thin that bothers me is the massive stoke piles of weapons and their proximity to each other. i mean one quick runaround and you have an extreamly deadly arsenal. but for a junk map this is excellent! 5/5
No offense or anything but this has been done soooo many times and giving it a name and gametype doesn't change anything, now i admit i've made my fair share of these style maps but i don't go round posting them and then making a "NEW" pile and calling it a v2 it just doesn't seem right.
Excellent! This is going to be one of my first DLs when my 360 gets back from it's vacation in Texas. This is a perfect example of what can be done with a junk map when it is built by someone who knows what they are doing. I look forward to playing on it.
