    The Death Pit is sooo sick. DL'ed by the second screenshot alone...be back after a round or two of Conquest.

    Hey thanks a lot, but are you sure that wasn't Phreakie screaming "Do a barrel roll!"? He says it all the time on Chasm...


    And this map actually would've never happened if I hadn't seen TheSilenceBroken's map Vertebraille, so I really must thank him!

    I've been playing on this map for months, and I love it. It's one of the best conquest maps I've every played. The flow is so smooth, the weapons are perfect, and the layout is amazing.

    Note: This is also great for Snipers ;)

    LOL. That's one of the reasons why I've stopped inviting him to play Chasm with me ;)

    I was recommended to play this and I did. I downloaded it from GoO. It was very fun and unique. It is the very opposite of a boring game. My whole party and I enjoyed it. If anyone is looking for a good conquest map, here it is.

    having played this quite alot in the last 2 TGIFs i can definetly say this map rox my sox offzzz

    and i also know It is definetly pronounced *K-asm*

    dont care what anyone says, itll always be called kasm too me =P

    Yeah, this is the first map I've made that's also helped me with my vocabulary. I thought it was Chaz-um at first too, but after discussing map design with a few people they quickly pointed out the correct pronunciation. That's why I have it in there. It's a much more devious word than other long titles other maps get. It's only 5 letters long! That's why I put the pronunciation in there :)

    Lol that's pretty funny you'd try to make up your own words. Maybe it's because "ch" and "sm" don't sound like they look and the vowel is in the middle, splitting them. How about "psohd"? or "thyrl"? Hah, neither of those make sense but it's funny to think about them.

    The size of this map is very small but the interlocking looks really good! I don't know how the gameplay is but I'll give it a DL anyway :)

    Hey Drago, excellent job on this map. Normally, when people try to put their own spin on Conquest, it messes with the feel of things and doesn't come out well. However, when I'm playing this unique masterpiece, it still has the conquest feel. Although, in standard conquest maps with narrow hallways, I'm not a big fan of plasma nades - they're very powerful. Anyways, this map really is a blast, great job.

    * Heads-up for some people, this is not a necro post, the forge map section limit is 3 weeks or more.*

    I have not played this yet, but I can tell this is truly awesome. First, the death pit looks so EPIC and the gameplay looks so fun thanks to that and the entire map layout. It's good that you put shield doors to help prevent some interferences to the other territories. Great job.

    Very nice map, should play very well for conquest. The only thing that bothers me are the shield doors. I know other people have been complaining about this too and I think they provide for good gameplay but I just think they look very tacky compared to the rest of the map. If you could just merge some fence walls with the shied doors to add to the asthetics and also to indicate where the shield door ends that would be epic.

    I dont really know much about conquest, but I know the concept, and it looks like it would be fun on here. I have been seeing the death pit alot more now but you definitly executed the idea flawlessly. If I was to play conquest, I would do it on this map. Great job on a great map.

    I just realized I hadn't posted in here since I first saw it. This is by far my favorite conquest map of all time. It's really the meaning of the phrase elegant simplicity. It is such a simple but ingenious concept, and a simple conquest layout. But somehow it manages to captivate me and my territories-hating friends to play it over and over. Even with just a 2 on 2 splitscreen, it was the best time I've ever had on a conquest map, or any territories map for that matter. Too bad you posted this before conquest Forge Off.

    Actually, I have to completely disagree with you. The shield doors are completely necessary because if they weren't there, it'd completely ruin the conquest feel because of all the cross-bridge shooting. If fence walls were put in, it'd ruin the ability to look across the map and see the epic battle taking place. Not only that, fence walls would make it tacky-er :] either way. It's not too hard to see the end of the shield doors, either. I don't know what you're talking about there, but I hope you enjoy the map!

    It was just a suggestion, what I'm trying to convey is you should cover the ends of the shield doors, i.e. the top and bottom, since they look like they come out of nowhere plus this would add to the already modern look of the map. Maybe I should download the map, Forge what I'm talking about and post a pic for clarification, if there's enough money left on the map.

    Update: WTF? your map just got featured? I have a hard time getting the moderators to even look at my maps. Congrats! Ignore my suggestion then, lol.

    Oh I see. I thought you were talking about putting fence walls right on top of the shield doors. Bordering them makes much more sense.
    In theory it's a cool idea and I agree it'd make the map look better but it'd allow people to jump on the lower fence walls or they'll have to be forged at an extreme angle. I don't plan on making a v2 unless more changes were made. You're welcome to forge it but don't expect it to be implemeted :|

    Oh yea, didn't think of that. I also thought you could make the shield doors into a triangle or trapezoid.
