No i did not get this name from Quantum of Solace! Quantum is a map made for two teams. There are two bases, each having a power up and a sniper. In two corners of the map, there are buildings with ghosts inside. In the middle there is a floating platform with the shotgun on it. NIce map and gewd interlocking,some pretty cool structures but,but you probably need to add some stuff beside the middle structure so it won't be so bland,this could be a realy good map if you add a little more structures.
eh looks pretty nice, i'd say you used mancannons pretty smoothly and set up the weapons nicely. cool that you decided to put 2 ghosts on the map, that spartan laser would be nice for them eh , well looks good to me! nice job
This map is amazingly well made and has very nice aesthetics. The gameplay looks fun and the ideas are very original. However, unless you're not using the budget glitch, I would suggest filling in some of that empty space. (Underneath the sniper tower and in the corner of the sniper spawn picture)
dude this is epic I pour winsauce all over your map maybe interlock the mancannons and make those look more epic... good -the structures -the merging -the interlocking bad -all the crates -the seemingly endless supply of moveable objects -too open overall opinion a nice map, it is a little open, but you could fix that with a wall merged into the open area. Idea on the base up against the wall dividing the default bases, there are 2 brs, you could put a single br on the intersection on the grid of the tilted box
Sorry, but i'm out of budget. And also, with the ghosts, it would be hard to maneuver them around with a ton of crap in the way. Thanks Crusader, I just hope that people will be able to find the laser, seeing as how its not exactly in plain sight like the shotgun. I'm not using the budget glitch, so I can't add anything else to my map. And like i said before, it would be hard to maneuver the ghosts around if there was a ton of crap in the way. Yes, you can walk up that bridge, and also, there's a mancanon under it to shoot you up
Looks like a legit map. Aesthetics and gameplay alike are balanced and FUN. which is what it comes down to. Keep posting! 5/5
Thanks, i didn't put a lot of thought into planning this map (a lot being nothing) I'm glad that you like the fact that it's balanced. I'm surprised that nobody has said anything about the high amount of items.
Looks like you know what you are doing. But there are some things wrong. Pros- Nice Interlocking and Geomerging, Good Weapon Setup, Aesthetics are wonderful. Cons- Too Open, Not a very good layout, most of it just seems like random objects placed around Foundry(Then again, that's how most maps are...) I will give it a 3/5
I would say it needs some work. What I like: It seems that you have a briliant mind because your map has very creative bases like in MLG. I also think that you have it down with the geomerging and the interlocking. What I don't like: First off, you need to incorporate more bases or you should make a map with two of your bases and design a map around that like MLG. You lack cover in most spots on your map and like i've said, you need more structures. Now all you have to do is try to make more structures in this map becuase you have great bases and you could easliy make an MLG map. I would help if you made another. 4/5. Hoped this helped.
I would like some opinions on this: I have ghosts on this map, and yet i get things that say it's too open. I am out of money. What should I do? If i add more cover, that would mean it would be hard to move the ghosts around. If I don't, this constructive criticism that you gave me could turn into flaming by noobs. It did help. I think that i'll delete some crates and dumpsters around the map and geomerge an upside down box in more strategic places.
