But then I was hoping for something much closer to the actual series than this. Not expecting it however. Doesn't look as good as it could have been but at least it looks like it will beat speed racer. (non capitalized for a reason)
What the... You know, if Dragonball was actually like this, then I wouldn't have a problem. However, I do. Goku's awesome hair is gone. Bulma doesn't look like Bulma, and isn't at all like her. Since when did Bulma kick ass? Master Roshi isn't the old pervert with a bald head. Absolutely NOTHING in this movie, is taken from the actual series. You couldn't tell that that was inspired by Dragonball. Otherwise this is a good quality film.
The names are right, the dragonballs (but not how and why they were made) are right. Piccolo wanting to destroy the earth is right. Other than that, yea everything is wrong. Even Goku's attitude is completely wrong.
Saw this in web design. Piccilo looks like smeagal on steriods. Roshi has hair. Bulma is uhh.... ugly.
WTF is that?where is goku's hair,why does bulma have guns,why does master roshi have hair,and why isn't piccilo green? why did they do this? that wasnt worth the time it took to watch it.
Because Dragonball is far to epic to be compressed down into an hour and a half. And they needed to make it more interesting for the folks that have never seen it.
Can't believe I didn't post this before. The movie was ****. Absolutly nothing like the series. The Acting was crap and the fighting was worse. And this comming from a guy who owns the entire series including 2 copies of season 1 and the first three movies. (1 set with original English release voice cast and the more recent re-dubbed Hi-Def releases)
