I supply you all with a pretty decent video time line of Nickelodeon. It shows you a lot of the great shows that were definately worth the watch.

*For the parts where it has a paragraph of information, pause it and read it all. The video goes by pretty fast.*

    I miss it all.

Nick died in 1999 when it began airing spongebob squarepants.... from there on out it was downhill....

And a lot of that information was incorrect.... Are you Afraid of the Dark began airing back in 91'.... and "All That" first aired in 94.

Pete and Pete is another classic I still enjoy, lol.

Spongebob was good for awhile. Cartoon Network just keep taking good show after good show off. Now all that is on the is a baunch of A.D.D. woodland critters. Adult Swim is ok but some of the shows no one cares about at all.

Not the best tribute video, but it shows me how much I missed when I was growing up. I started watching Nick in 2002. The best shows on then were Spongebob, Wild Thornberries and All Grown Up. I missed a lot. :'(

Nickelodeon introduces crappy shows in (like that "Juniper Lee" garbage) and then they end up taking it out.

    Cartoon Network > Nickelodeon
Tom and Jerry are the best. I love those oldschool cartoons.

What ever happened to Garfield, Inspector Gadget, Looney Toons, Dexters Laboratory ("Dee Dee, get out of my La-Bor-A-Tor-Eee!", Tom and Jerry, Courage the Cowardly Dog, the good Hanna-Barbera toons, and gawd so MANY MORE!!

All of the newer cartoons are flat out retarded and full of idiocy.

Carttoonnetwork used to be a great network...

Dragonball Z was their biggest hit, and an entertaining show...

CN had Thundercats, Dragonball Z, Teen Titans, (accually good story lines...) and more.
Now, cartoons are all drawn just flat out stupid and pointless, ex.

When I was a young child, I loved watching Hey Arnold, Rugrats, and other great classics. I eventually migrated to some more complex shows, and then I found Avatar. Avatar was amazing. I don't care what people say, it's an adult-quality show wrapped up in a package that appeals to 10 year olds. The storylines were so awesome, and each character had depth. Now the shows don't even HAVE storylines! It's very rare to see even two episodes of spongebob or fairly odd parents connect, if at all. Heck, Avatar had a storyline through the entirety of the show! I loved that show.

Cartoon Network went down the hill when they started airing Pokemon, in my opinion. Pokemon: Good concept, but don't you think 10 games and countless shows are enough? Come on, give me a break.

    You sir, win this thread.

Nickelodeon was doomed the second they stopped regularly showing Doug, Legends of the Hidden Temple, Rocko's Modern Life, and Hey Arnold!. Mid to late 90's.

The launches of the Noggin and Nick GaS [Games and Sports] channels were the final nails in Nick's grave.

Speaking of Noggin, the kid's show "Oswald" is funny in a really dumb way.
Watch it sometime, and you'll see what I mean. Or maybe not. ?

I'm sad that they cancelled Futurama and kept the Simpsons, and just like Family Guy, the comedy has degraded over time and became sub-par. And I miss Cowboy Bebop, now it's only on really late on Saturdays.

Man, I loved Rocko's modern life, and courage,

Safe to say that Boomerang holds the crown on carttoon watching?

nick is losing all its carttoons and heading for teen drama shows... BLEAH!

although degrassi next gen kicked ass..

BUT NOW EVEN THATS GETING DUMB, EVERYBODY IS GONE! now its there nerdy kid siblings, and nobody wants to watch that..

    COME BACK CRAIG! lol
