Hey ForgeHub. I'm doing a little bit of...uh...research, and I was wondering-what is the hardest song in the Rock Band/Guitar Hero series altogether? I've haven't really seen Rock Band 2 or Guitar Hero: World Tour, do either of them have a song that tops Through the Fire and the Flames? Or, is it still the hardest song? Thanks guys. -Skill

The hardest song for me on expert in Rock Band 1 was Foreplay/Longtime. It wasn't just because of the length, that song is hard as hell, and really cool at the same time..
First, off the top of my head, Through the fire and the flames on expert of course seems like the hardest song ever, but i have not played rock band so i dont know what kind of songs theyhave on there
Battery, Painkiller and Panic Attack are the hardest from Rockband 2 .. But its a close call i would say TTAF.. However Raining Blood is really hard too!
Everyone, keep in mind, every single song except was 100%'d up until about a week ago. The Devil Went Down to Georgia is the last song to be 100%'d in music gaming history. Also, nobody mentioned it, but Jordan is hard as hell as well. And, frankly, no RB1 or RB2 songs can stand up to GH3 songs like TTFAF and TDWDTG
That sounds convincing, but when you think about it, people were more encouraged to FC Through the Fire and the Flames because it was at the top (technically bottom) of the setlist. It doesn't necessarily mean the Devil Went Down to Georgia is more difficult. Still, there's a lot of mixed answers, most saying TTFTF is the top dog. Is there really a song that can top it? EDIT: I looked, it's been FC'd.
Right, TTFAF was the big name for GH3, and so to 100% it would be considered the greatest task accomplished. That's why songs like One and TDWDTG were 100%'d after TTFAF. I guess you could argue from a standpoint that TTFAF has hundreds more notes than TDWDTG, or that TDWDTG had that lower amount of notes in a shorter amount of time. It's all about opinion. I beat TDWDTG before I beat TTFAF, but many people consider TDWDTG to be harder.

If you ask me, Satch Boogie, Hot for Teacher, Painkiller, and Battery are all harder or as hard as TTFAF and TDWDTG. The reason being is TTFAF and TDWDTG are in GH3 which has the easiest Hammer ons and Pull offs of any guitar hero or rock band game. Where as, Satch Boogie and Hot for Teacher use the "Aerosmith" HOPOS and Rock Band uses HOPOS similar to GH2, which had the scond hardest HOPOS of all.

GH3-The way it Ends. Fallowed by TDWDTG. The way it ends just has no beat to me, and I have the hardest friggin time doing it. While I can get like 76 percent on TDWDTG. If I could beat the intro to TTFATF I know i could beat the whole song. Rock Band is prob Green Grass and High Tides. BTW- this is not including the DLC, because there are some songs that are a lot harder then anything else I named. Or at least in my opnion they are.
I agree with you there, I can't beat any of them. My holy mission is to beat the third to last song in RB2, can't remember what it's called. It's impossible.
If this isn't including the DLC, then you can't count DWDTG. Normandy, I agree with most of yours, except for GH1, I'd have to say Bark at the Moon because of Solo 1C. Here's the vid.
