found this offa Halowiki.com its really helpful and always works! basicly, u always spawn at the same spot when u start. run to the edge of the platform and jump. then just run the rest of the way to the active camo This pic id from Halowiki.com its easier than it looks! i hope you all try it out. it works awesomely in team dubs!
You can also spawn, run towards the fusion coils by needler, throw a grenade at them when halfway there, keep running and count to 2, then jump left right as you hit 2 and you'll be flung into the camo tunnel.
Yeah but that's a waste of a grendae. I find grenades a lot more essential than just your assault Rifle or BR. Grenades help a lot, but nice idea though.
I personally go straight to the sniper, then to OS, then to the other team's shotgun spawn and sit in there. It's very effective.
I go to sniper, then sword, and then I usually snipe from the sword room for like 30 seconds. After that, I go up to the other teams sniper tower and snipe from there, using the sword for close range defense.
Another thing I find is that it's not very useful fior everyone to go for the camo at the start because the typical Halo player goes for it and usually dies at the beginning because everyone else is rushing for it. My strategy would be to have one person go for the camo as quick as he could and either give up a death retrieving it so the other team doesn't get it, or have him hide behind the wall but not go into the camo room. Chances are the other team will play it safe and throw a couple grenades. Let them throw the grenades and once they're in the room and you think they have just about got the camo, throw two grenades and head shot their asses, meanwhile you've got another guy going for the sniper, one going directly for the rocket launcher, and the other guy going for the Shotgun. To me that may be a legitiment strategy. It may be a little hard to pull off but you must play it safe and smart.
I grab the sniper and (if I'm playin with a friend)grenade jump off my friends head to the sniper room
If you mean that sniper tower where you spawn at, the big tall one, that is the worst place to snipe from. Also, Whisper, I think the actualy sniper tower isn't that great of a place either. You don't have that good of a view of the heated parts of the map (at least in most of the games that I play) and it gets confusing when you're trying to use your radar to watch for opponents sneaking up. At the shotgun spawn, you have a full view of the sniper tower, the Rocket hall, and the exit of the Camo, and even a bit of the sword room. You're also in a confined area, so wipping out that shotgun yields an easy kill for people rushing. Also, you may know this, but I forgot to tell you another thing I do. After coming out of the OS tunnel, if you look up toward the Sniper Tower and through a frag against that back wall of The Pit, they land perfectly in that corner where the Regenerator is where the person who is up there usually likes to sit. The player is then an easy one-shot with the BR and some extra Sniper ammo.
i usually run up to the rockets and use a grenade to make em fly towards me for an easy kill then i usually grab camo or their sniper
I'm pretty sure that you don't usually use a grenade to get the Rockets to fly at you, because you probably couldn't do it more than 1 in 10 tries. Why do people always rush Rockets? If you're not retarded, it's easy enough to kill the guy with Rockets and you just die when attempting to get them...
i get it to fly to the end of the hallway pretty much every time its not that hard to place a grenade right behind it and then you can either shoot the guy coming at you or if no one is there i move on to camo or sniper
You obviously haven't been to glitchamanjaro. There's a fast way to the overshield too. That's just dumb. Whenever you do, you die because your shield is down. Why don't you try regular jumping? You can get up there just as fast, without wasting your shield.
I think he means the tower that's above the blue room with the Mauler in it. It's pretty hard to jump up there by yourself, but I don't see why you would want to go up there in the first place. There's no good sniping views...
