I was thinking about hosting a Guitar Hero 3 tournament, but wasn't sure if there would be anyone who was interested in joining. There will be a MSP prize: Easy Champion: 100MSP Medium Champion: 250MSP Hard Champion: 350MSP Expert: This one is a bit different. The winner of this tournament will face me in a 5 song set list. If you win, you will receive 1600 MSP. If you lose, you will receive 800. I'd need at least 8 people for each difficulty (you can sign up for more than one difficulty). Let me know if you guys are interested. NOTE* I would suggest signing up for Expert even if you think you will lose. You never do know, and you'll have a shot at 800 MSP or 1600 if you can beat me. Like I said, you can sign up for more than one difficulty, so you will only be helping your chances of winning a prize. I doubt you would be able to get 8 people for each difficulty here on FH, but I would be glad to go against you on expert.

What I meant was that I needed at least 8 people in any difficulty for that difficulty to run. If I have 8 people for Expert but only 5 for Hard, then Expert will run but Hard will not. I don't need it for each difficulty for the thing to happen. EDIT: If this happens, you will be paired up with someone (at random) and you can work out a time with them.

I have over 30 Expert 100% FCs (full combo) and I've gotten 100% on this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F3y8uDzrWHQ That was pretty much luck, and it's like crazy fast and you have to use two fingers on your right hand to tap the orange, so I have no clue how I did it lol. EDIT: It looks like we have three entries for Expert, two for Hard, and one for Medium so far. If we get like 6 or 7 for one difficulty, I'll run a league which would be a little different than the bracket tournament I had, or I could just make the bracket tournament double elimination or something.
I'll write what difficulties have which in the OP until we have enough to do a tournament and/or league, and then I'll make a new thread. I'd also really like it if you guys told any of your friends who would be interested in this. Leagues and tournaments are pretty fun, and what's to lose? There's a prize involved EDIT: Trifslap, for the finals for the Expert, you'll pick two of the songs and I'll pick three (just because I would be hosting the match).

It's not actually confirmed that it's happening yet. I'm waiting to see if enough people would sign up for it, then I'll go ahead and make the actual thread for it. That's when I'll decide all the times, matches, and songs and stuff.
