    Labyrinth v2.5

    Labyrinth v2.5

    *Technically, this is Labyrinth v2.5 - i added more respawns, a bit more cover, more weapons, more nades, overshields, camo, and i cleaned it up a bit more*


    Yes, i made another one. this is the second version of Labyrinth. it starts on the top, which still has no weapons, and has only one hole down to the bottom, which splits up four ways. once at the bottom, there is a BR, and two ways that you can go - left or right. in this version, i used much more interlocking, and a little geomerging. in some rooms, there are no cielings, because i ran out of items, and it some areas it can be a tad messy, because i got rushed, and also because of the lack of items. i will put more info in if asked, and if someone could download and test and review, i would be very grateful - if possible, maybe even tweak it a little bit and send that to me. thank you - TheKiNG1325
    *this is a best for 3-4v3-4, or possibly 3-5FFA. the last one was more based on FFA, but this is probably better for teams slayer. no other gametypes are set up for this map, and more screens are on the way

    Yeah, it doesn't really give you a feel for the map. More pics would be nice. Also is this a slayer map? 1v1? what?

    I would love to see more pictures of the map before i download but so far without it, i see that this map looks really cool. The stair cases look really cool on this map the way you use them

    nice job

    i dont have any more pics yet, and its hard because of how high it starts up, but ill try and go get some more now. also, il edit OP for specifics

    I don't get it. If everybody starts up top, won't everyone just camp up there? Also you can stand where the stairs cross

    first off, thank you to eguitarplayer33, i added some more "stuff" and after i eat dinner im going to put up more pics.

    now to cake chart. you dont want to camp up top, because there are no weapons, and i dont think you'd last seeing as that's where all the respawn points are and you can be caught with a 2 on one. also, wheres the fun? lastly, i know you can stand on the stairs, but i used this to put an overshield on it (pics coming) and again theres no fun, and you can be killed easily if your there

    i dont see much upside down- on its side.
    well i see 1 that looks tipped over- or it looks like its from the top and it isnt tipped over.

    im not sure- because the 1st labyrynth was a map that was tilted, upside down, messed with the players....

    but this doesnt look like that

    the stair thing caught my eye though- nice job.

    im sorry, i didnt know there was another map called labyrinth. this is just a bigger, better version of another map called labyrinth i posted earlier. again, i apologize for your confusion

    This looks nice but some of the places could use some straightening up, the things that i notices the most were the stairs and the weapons/weapon placement. The spartan laser is too powerful for a map like this, but ill need to play on it until i can really tell it it will work for good or bad gameplay. Ill download and play to see if I should change my response on the laser or not.

    maybe - i havent tested this yet, i just finished it today. there are power weapons in every room/corner of the lower level, which are shotgun, rockets, sniper, and splazer, so i thought that those would equal each other out. i'd like to know what you think too, so im awaiting your review.

    edite: my bad, didnt realize the double post

    thank you, the stairs took a while to get right - lots of respawn points and frustration in the aligning. surprisingly, the fence up top was also really hard to set up, because its so high the barrier pushed them over a lot

    This looks great! Did you say this is your first map if so NICE! It had to be pretty hard to build it. I have a suggestion for it, I think it would be cool if you made a room full of teleporters that people could get trapped in that would be awsome! Dont worry about some of the blowhards here. The moderators are awsome and will cut you a little slack since you are new, and there are alot of helpful and friendly members aswell. Its always best to read any and all information avaliable though, so you dont piss of the powers that be. They have taken alot of their time to make the rules clear and they do expect you to follow them.
    Anyway welcome aboard and good job on your first map! I hope to see more from you.

    thank you very much for the advice. ive already noticed that these forums are much more friendly than some others (*cough* halo 3 forums). also, i like you teleporter idea - i'll play around with it a bit.
