Just trying to get better, so I took a request from the sig shop I'm not giving this to taco, just trying to get more experience not sure how to color the background.
without the background I think. The red background just makes it feel both too normal, for a sig clearly out of the normal. And too confined. It looks good otherwise (the first one) Except maybe add some backround into each individual box, so that they arent so plain. Otherwise nice job. XD Alright, here is one I just quickly threw together. My first in 2 weeks or so, so it's not too great. What do you guys think?

XD Thanks lol... Yea I found a great tutorial that showed me how to get a good BG, and add the "flow" to the sig. It's definitely my best one, or really, my only good one yet lol. So I'd say Im definitely gettin the hang of it. I posted it on Legacy Designs too, although I'm sure it'll get more criticized there. I think I'm going to switch the venom sig in the SOTW thread I made to this one... thanks again! XD
Not my fave... Over contrasted and too red. Can't really distinguish the render and the focal point is missing. Also the flow is going like >><< so not good. Sry.
Everything is pretty good but a little too red and brightish... The render looks a little squashed but other than that its pretty decent
Hmm, I think it's a little too red, and the background and render aren't set apart, when I glanced at it quickly it all just looked like it could be a C4D, as opposed to the background and then the guy up front, y'know? I think if it wasn't as bright in terms of colour and you could see the focal point of the sig, it would look pretty nice. CNC on the sig I made for my girlfriend please?
I don't know, I personally don't llike the stock image you're using. I like the smudging all right, though. The splatter on the corner is cool, also. Really, you did a good job, I just dislike the main image
I like it, it actually reminds me of those 3D images you used to get that require those Red/Green shaded glasses I like (what looks like) motion blur on the overall thing, especially the clouds. Personally, I like it, I know some people may not as we all have preference when it comes to sigs, but yeah, I really think it looks good overall! Quickly, what font are you using? It looks like the same one that I've used previously, ummm.. 'Existence'
Not much too it. All you need to do is change the color of the text outline, and make the words more visible.
Okay so I just made this in like 10ish minutes but it turned out really good and I like it so here it is. I decided that since in 99.9% of my sigs I always boost the contrast I wanted to have a less contrasted sig. I will probably be making a tut for this since it's only like 3 layers but it's epic and I love how it looks so here it is: Oh and because someone is going to mention it here is one with a border... Less bright... CnC please...
Lord Terrax, yours is really good, but I like the less bright one the best. The brighter ones hurt my eyes a little. The text altogether goes really well with the sig, it fits in nicely. I do not like the border though. CnC please:
Ummm... I like the lighting but the BG is just too liquidy The render is sharp and grungy whereas the BG looks too neat and not rocky... If you look at the white lines they flow which I don't like. The Soft brushed lighting works pretty well since it gives a light source. At first glance I liked it a lot but now I'm not so sure... The text is really difficult to see also and I don't really like how neat it is in comparison to the rest. Not terrible but not fantastic. =/
I agree with Terrax. At first glimpse, I really like the look of it, but then when you look at it, the BG just doesnt match the render in texture. I also didnt realize there was text until Terrax said so. It just blends in too much. Here is one I just made, my first sig using C4D's, since I finally just downloaded a bunch. CnC?
I struggle to tell what I'm looking at. If you hadn't written GhostRider within it, I would have never guessed. I'm not saying that it's necessarily a bad thing but IMO, you've altered beyond the point of recognisability [yes, it is a word]. It looks really cool but to me it looks like a bunch of bubbles, swift flicking lines and what appears to be flame, not GhostRider.
