    RIKBEN MANSION!!!



    Rikben mansion is one of my better maps because it looks pretty good in aesthetics and it plays well. It took me about 7 hours to make over a long time period.​

    Back story:​

    Officer Limoran: Sir those gates won't be able to hold the virus out for long.​

    Lord Rikben: Well how long do we have?​

    Officer Limoran: about 90 seconds at the most​

    Lord Rikben: ****​

    Field major: ...Sir... there's a whole bunch... of them coming for the gates... their only made of iron so they're gonna come down... HOLY ****!!!... NOOO!!! (sounds of dead skin being inhaled and blood spraying)​

    Lord Rikben: Field major, **** he's dead. I want every one of my guards and officers with a weapon setting up the mine field or sniping from the house.​

    Officer Limoran: Yes sir i shall see to it.​

    Lord Rikben: (under his breath) and let's hope we all come outta this alive.​


    Story:
    You are an officer/guard in the service of Brigadier General Lord Rikben, a hero of the army. You set up the minefield or you go on the wall. Point is there's a storm coming. A storm of infected hosts who want nothing more to kill you. Good luck and may your aim be true.​


    Description: Rikben mansion has two things yopu can do. The first is to set up the mines (trip mines) all around the garden in front. The second is to grab your weapons and get ready for the storm of zombies.​

    Just a word from the author:​

    Anyway onto the map. This map is only for a maximum of 12 players because then it just gets too much and you have to boot dickheads.​

    The main thing about this map is teamwork for both Zombies and humans. The zombies will need to charge together and the humans will need to snipe together.​

    Finally i would just like to say this map was made by me and Jordan Barnes.​

    the map looks really good and i like the iron gate idea but it also has been used many many times so you really cant copyright it. although i would like to see a picture or 2 behind the barriers. one thing you can fix though is that you really dont need a minefield because it only works once and then you have to wait awhile.

    i think this map looks good with forge skills and with a great idea of a game type. but i just wanted to point out that on the right hand side of screenshot 6, the gates kinda look a bit more sloppy then the gates on the left, but that isnt too big of a prob i guess, 4/5

    Ummm, you can't make copyrights to style of map. Plus, I Am Legend V3 had this, and Omega Journey had something similar. So, if anything it's them that should be reporting you!

    You really can't do that to someone. As long as the maps aren't completely alike or even stolen, then their is no harm done. Many ideas have been done numerous times, and many times the levels are very similar to each other. I actually made a map that I didn't post on FH, but the idea was that zombies stormed through a broken wall that lead into the back rooms of foundry while the humans defended themselves

    Edit: Sorry for repeating what someone else said, I did not notice his post.

    Anyway the map looks okay, but very hard for the zombies, because of the trip mines and the gigantic mine field. I would tone that down and take out one or two trip mines to help even the odds a little. Other than that it looks like a very fun map. It looks almost like the zombie gametype "braaaaains", simply because it would be so hard for the zombies and no one would want to be them

    wow that has to be the most exciting story background i've ever heard. That was a huge adrediline rush.

    As for the map I thought it was good., you hardly ever see maps with that many fusion coils in them because they seem to lag a bit. I would make a v2 and straiten up the gate and make things more perfect. This map could be great but theres some mistakes. I would....
    Make everything perfect.
    get rid of the coils.
    show more pics.
    On thing i did like though, was the picture with the sniper in it. The interlocking was good there

    i would like to see some more maps from you cause you have some good potentiall

    LOL I almost fell out of my seat after reading this! Do you REALLY think you are the FIRST to ever use this idea? NO, your not. Maybe I should report your thread for copeing the thousands of random people who went into forge for 5 minutes and made a map the same as this. You cannot copyright something you did not make the idea for... Just becuase i'm going to make a map with iron gates, k?

    For the map, the dumpsters could be straighter because it looks like the zombies can jump the wall and get over without waiting and the wall would look better if the boxes were turned sideways and interlocked.

    Anyway for the map the creativity level is like 0.2% out of 1%
    The looks of the map about a 0.5 out of 1
    And the gameplay is like 4/5
    Ill rate the map a 3.5/5 for the messy looks in places.

    Ok the map looks really hard for the zombies. And as zackj191 said, the dumpster alignment wasn't great so the zombies could get out. The sniper perch does look alright though. I will rate it a 6/10 for interlocking but a 1/10 for sloppyness.

    Thing is the map is very balanced. Zombies can easily avoid the trip mines and the humans have to be good at sniping or they're dead. Maybe if someone actually played this map with a few people instead of looking at the pictures then you will see it is actually a good map

    This could actually be really fun! If the humans are good at Sniping, then the zombies need to be good at Dodging! Although the Map itself could use some work, you should flip the Boxes in the wall so that you see the bottom, it is a lot smoother than the side. Also you should interlock the meets, it will delete the seems and make the overall look way better.

    Overall a 3/5, good job!

    i agree with this guy. the old "zombies breaking through a wall and having a brain buffet on defenders inside a house" has been used many times.

    hey this map looks cool and i like the idea of the iron gate + mine field but i have a suggestion: set the minefields out... then set them so only like a third of them can be spawned at a time then when sum1 blows one up another will spawn elsewhere

    I laughed so hard that I passed out from lack of oxygen. Then I got up and started hitting the brick wall next to me because of how stupid some people can be. 1: You cannot copyright an idea that has been used thousands of times. 2: Get a spellchecker. 3: Get a life. 4: Interlock the double boxes together. 5: There isn't a 5. I'd have to say a 2/5 at best.

    I'm getting sick of Forgehub. every single thread that i have looked at that is in fact really fun is ruined by the bloody snobs who say that it needs to look good. Who cares what it looks like.
    This is a very fun game in my opinion and everyone else who i have played with says they love it. So why don't you think less of the aesthetics and more on the gameplay.

    Alot of people care what it looks like. Including me. People rarely download maps unless they look good in the post. Making a map that looks good is essential, if you want anyone to even play it.

    The gameplay is the main feature on a map but the aesthetics is what makes a map any good. If your map looks like a twelve year old decided he had the greatest idea and that he was going to built it in under 10 minutes then nobody would even care if the maps gameplay is good. Take pride in your work..
