    i had a run around this today. impressive construction, but i just felt like puking the whole time. i cant see how anyone can actually play on this map. lol

    i take off my hat to you sir, as the angles are straighter than in most normal maps. lol

    I find it rather funny that Distortion's going to be replacing Interrobang though, especially considering that Interrobang replaced Distortion on the FH front page way back when. Oh irony, delicious irony and role reversal!

    That is exactly what I was saying to my friend as I loaded this map up. You truly have improved this map from the old edition. I'm still looking to play a match on this map though. Your layout seems pretty "camp proof". There didn't look to be one safe place to camp the entire match, which I always think is very important...especially on a map as disorientating as this. The version I downloaded didn't seem to have the man cannons merged into the ground though...I might have grabbed a different version...or it might have been that I was in forge. Ah well.

    I've been dieing to play a match on this map, hopefully some other folks will be wanting to do the same tonight as well.

    [edit]: Oh I forgot one concern. Your powerups aren't merged very deep into the bridges. Now while they cannot be grabbed, there is an occasional time that severe lag will allow players to pick them up (in general, not specifically on your map). I had it happen to a map of mine during the testing phase, so I merged them in deeper. I haven't had a problem since then myself. The map I was playing on had 10 people on it though, so it may not be a problem for you.

    Dude...I had a headache BEFORE I looked at this...then seeing this I passed out. Still, after regaining consciousness, and looking properly, I like it. I downloaded the first Distortion (and posted on it, only to get an infraction because it was 3 weeks old) and I loved it. This, from what I can see, looks fantastic, and best of all, playable! THat's the best part. 10/10. Great job, buddhacrane. I salute you.

    Rargh, your concerns are accurate. I recently discovered, while playing CTF, when I happened to Flag lunge at someone it lagged me through the bridge enough for me to grab the custom powerup ><. I thought I had it JUST right aswell!

    And it's too late to fix it now because it'll be up on BF in a matter of hours (and I'm at work). I'll just have to hope it's not too frequent an occurance. I suppose, for people that really care about competitive gameplay, they can always just tweak the gametype to remove the effects of the powerup should anyone pick it up. Freakin' annoying though!

    To be fair, I always tweak the gametype for CTF anyway. On a map this small you really want to shorten the respawn times for players and the return/reset time for the flag, and also set it so that the flag should be at home to score.

    Once again you have screwed my mind up Buddha.

    Great map. I have played it quite a bit and it is fun. Though I can't play it for more than a couple a games in a row for fear of head injury.

    I can't believe that you made this without budget glitch or even at all. The whole thing is brilliantly made. Very clean interlocks, nice design, and a perfectly sustained illusion this time. My favorite part is the twisted hallway. Everytime I go through that thing I tilt my head to the side. To be honest I thought that after playing it a couple of times that would stop. I was wrong. Good job! ( O and P.S. Congrats on making Bungie Favs)

    Congrats on Bungie Faves mate, is their such thing as a forge genius? Because this map is a work of genius, I appreciate original thinking. As for the map giving people headaches, it really does, I did that to a mate last night on a forge through and he was so disoriented he turned into a monitor and deleted walls to get out!

    wow, just wow. you took an already awesome map, and made it AWESOMER (lol). but it all seriousness. I love it and i've had the original on my hard drive for months now. Its definatly a DL for me.
    -It would be cool if they made this into an actual map that was like, an abandoned spaceship, still in space with gravity on in some rooms.

    Wow, this map is amazing. I've played since v2, and this is the absolute best version. I love the upside down room where the grenades fly up.

    The interlocking is some of the best, and the angles must have taken forever.

    What a map. I really haven't had time to write this, but I played this a couple days ago with like 4 / 5 people. It was confusing as hell, but that is what made the gameplay so much better. Sure I assassinated like 15 people, but it was fun. Definitely a good remake of the original. 6/5.

    At first look this map is very familiar but with closer analysis there are clear differences between this distortion and it's predecessors. The upside down room looks like it could prove confusing and make gameplay very fun with the mancannon/grav lift ordeal. And the tele doors would prove to make playing on this map 10x more fun. All in all this map gets a 5/5. But I'm sure you already knew that.

    Wow, I love the fixes and improvements from the first one, but I think I'll keep this and v 1.3 in my hardrive because I love them both. But I think that gameplay will be waaaay smother on this Congrats on the Bungie favourite too! I've noticed a lack of suckage in the faves now so hopefully we'll see more FH stuff in there now. Keep making headache maps Buddha!

    Great job on the remake of a great map. Its nice that forge hub actually choose this as one of the bungie favs. I love the new upside down room. 6/5

    wow this is amazing layout. does this play good with infection, because it looks awsome for it. Every piece of the map looks great and i bet its hard to learn this map piece by piece good job. 4/5

    cool map. there were some spawning problems in free for all slayer for me though. anyways, very neatly done remake. mind tellin me how the deuce you merged those mancannons

    Alas, after many an attempt I deduced a 3-way was just not plausible enough with the space at my disposal. The fact you can't do a perfect 45 degree tilt on three sides makes it bad enough as it is, but with the lack of space and materials I would need to make anything decent, it just compounded the issue. Maybe Sandbox will allowe me to reimagine that dream.

    I know that in FarCry 2 though you can pull off the effect PERFECTLY. Shame that there's fall damage in that game, which completely ruins the effect because seemingly innocent jumps will kill you ><

    Same way you geo-merge anything else under the map, there's no special trick.

    Place a single open box on the ground, set it not to spawn at start and hold the mancannon where the box will spawn. As soon as the box spawns it will force the mancannon under (provided you're holding onto the mancannon of course). Then save the mancannon under there and go under the map yourself so you can tweak its position.
