Twas epic. I'll see it, but if it was any other thing about robots, rather than Megaman, I wouldn't see it. The acting was definitely not top notch.
Ugh. Why can't someone who can actually pick a good crew and have a good director do that movie? I mean... when did Megaman become asian? Or when did Roll become asian? Not that I have a problem... but... I'll still go see it... Even though it's probably going to be crap.
I believe Megaman was always asian and was created by capcom, which i think is a japanese game company, but i'm not sure
If we learned any thing from the Super Mario Bros. Movie, it's that sidescrollers cannot be converted into film. However, this is an independent film, so it might be interesting. Either the indies will go for the special effects that they just don't have the budget to do, or go into the story too much since they can't do the special effects. But I much rather have story than special effects, and if Hollywood got their hands on that movie, well that would be all we could expect. So this could be interesting.
Whatchu talking about foo, this **** is oscar material, better than the Joker in the Dark Knight IMO. The part were Roll says "You ARE special" with that retarded face made me want to punch a baby. It is possible for Hollywood to make this into an epic movie, just, need the right story. The Band "The Protomen" have re-created the whole Megaman story into this super Epic Rock Opera. Just read their Song lyrics and you shall see what I mean, they have turned the all cutesy megaman into this gritty Western sci-fi robot drama about fascism and stuff. That story itself can make an super awesome Hollywood Megaman movie. That song was catchy, also, I coulda sworn I heard a hint of the Dark Knight in there. Also, I just saw the leaked tralier for the new DragonBall movie comming out, I dont know what to make of it, it looks as cool as The forbidden kingdom but Many, and I mean MANY DB fans are gonna be dissapointed. got to Dragonballthemovie.com for info.

I want my halo movie And I don't want Asian megaman, no offense to the asians but, when japanese game companies design their heros, they usually don't look like asians..or any human being for that matter. Though I thought it was spoof at first, till I realized it had some production value, than I realize it had very little production value and was saddened. PoP movie could be could, as could DB (or DBZ movie? big difference), though I'm wondering how it turned so quickly to mostly failed book -> movie movies, to video game -> movie movies. Not saying that DB movie is video game to movie..
