I was thinking of getting some sort of gaming rental subscription from gamefly, because I'm not going to spend $60 for every game that I want and only going to play for a few weeks. How is it, if you have it?
Well I do have GameFly, I pay 20$ each month, and I can rent 2 games at a time. You can put games on your list, and they should arrive at your house within 3-4 days. Although don't expect getting any of the brand new game titles like Gears of War 2 ect...I have put Fable II on my list about 2 weeks ago, and it just got here 1 day ago. I'm not going to say its a bad service, I like it. Just don't expect to get any of the newest titles.
Yeah it's good, I've gotten 6 games in the last month, and only one I would have wanted to buy, which is nice, but they're not very consistent. The time games get to them and the time games get to you seems to vary from 1 day to 1 week. And yeah, choose your first games wisely, you won't be getting very many low-high availability games for a while...
They must not like you then. I got Halo 3 two days after it was released. GoW 2 the day it was released. Fable II like 4 days after it was released. Dragoncoals, I suggest you get Gamefly, it rules.
I used to use it one or two years ago. The only reason i stopped using it was because it took about a week to get a game after it was sent, then another week to tell i sent the game back, and every time the game either didn't play or it was ****ing scratched to hell. so really it was a waste of money for me but it might be different for other people. i rent games but only at my local movie starz. I would try it though it may be better for you.
I use my gamefly for the less major games. Ill usually buy anything that I completely luv, obviously Halo and CoD. I rented Unreal Tournament 3, BF Bad Company (loved it), some DS games.
no,but i would like to use it yeh definitly becuasei would love to try games before buying them which is what im gonna do with halo wars
