Well if the normal version of the game costs $60 new...and the maps will cost you $10 that would make the value of the LE $70...BUT WAIT, THERES MORE! You also get all of those goodies that so many halo fans love...probably another $10 worth of value. So if you're going to buy Halo Wars, and if you want the maps early...the LE is probably a better bet.
Never said it wasn't lol. I was merely using logic to dispel your hopes that the maps would be coming out before February since late February is when Halo wars is supposed to come out. To make you even more depressed, the rest of the maps aren't suppose to come out until Halo 3: ODST drops fall next year.
We get the point we are trying to have a discussion you don't need to mention that every five seconds.
Hmm...From the sounds of it, the maps Orbital, Heretic and Lomgshore sound good (Especially Longshore) as I like the sound of the 2 story buildings and stuff. Really good for sniping. God, (Sorry if you find that offensive) I really want to play on the Mythic Map Pack so much! XD
Halo Wars is not coming out late February, I know people who work at gamestop, and i checked with other gamestops. the official street date is February 2, 2009
It's about time they actually released that game. I've been hearing about it for the past 5 years now, I hope it's going to be as good as they make it seem.
For our Great American Teach In (people come in and talk about their jobs) a lady that works for Technicolor said that Halo Wars would be out early February. Technicolor is a company that does the marketing design for games and movies. They do they display boxes and packaging and (maybe) ads for the game. She said that they didn't even have an official release date for the game because Microsoft was still deciding exactly when to put it out. Now Microsoft might have the release date decided upon, but they haven't told anyone what it is just yet.
These sound good; I hope sandbox is like a forge add on, though. About Orbital: Will the gravity be lower?
Oh yeah I forgot about the fact that you could do that. Well maybe it wouldn't ruin gameplay for certain gametypes but I meant that there would be no point in lowering the gravity for Orbital
I'd like to see more info on Citadel. I think I get which part it takes place in but I still want to see how they've managed to make that a Mutliplayer map. They all sound awesome, I'm guessing we'll be seeing some info from Bungie about Orbital soon!
I'm more interested in Longshore...that map just sounds way too sexy. And the personwho played it just hyped it even more for me. I cannot wait. Oh Sandbox too, lol
Sandbox is what I'm looking forward to the most because I can't wait to see what there is to forge with but I'm really hyped about Longshore as well. I've already seen other maps (Orbital and Assembly and part of Sandbox) and I'm really interested to see what Longshore looks like, though I do realize it's not a part of the up coming Mythic map pack but the next one in Halo 3: ODST.
The first of three maps wont be out till sometime in late March or early April or maybe even later. Halo Wars releases March 3 for US Official Halo Wars Community Site
