When a map is actually good enough on something else, than it will get feature. Beside, how the hell can you call Avalanche bland? It's got nothing? Most floating blackout maps are completely failful, and well..nothing else is caliber. Good maps get feature because they are good. End of story.
The recent features [including my map] are playable if you play any of them with your pary you probably will have some level of fun you of course should play the map as intended too by using correct gametypes and such to maximize playability. The sad thing is other maps just dont have Foundry's forge pallet and untill we get Sandbox or some new maps with similar pallets we will most likely not see many old map features. Its just how it works.
I must say, the aesthetcis on this map are great and all but I am with sdrak. it just doesn't feel complete. I don't know what but it is missing something.
Wow I remember playing/testing this map with Phreakie and we got a game going on ONe Flag. All I can say was that it was amazing. The mix of high ground/lowground, along with a ghost made this map intense. I loved the bridge stairs and I dont even think I got spawned killed at all! I like the structure where you had to capture the flag because it was original and made the game more fun to play. During our game, the defenders would hide in the flag room with a grav hammer and everytime we went to grab the flag... BOOM. OUCH! Enough said about me getting pwned, this map was an amazing map to play on and the aestetics were pleasing to look at. Congratz on the feature Phreakie, you really deserve it.
Congrats on the Featured Maps. The map has very good geo-merging, and interlocking and the aesthetics are very well done. I really like the stairs updside down with the bridges at different heights. Nice Map! 5/5

Ah yes. This was a well built map. I have no objections to seeing this get featured. Seemed like all the structures were well placed and gameplay worked well. Your CTF was way too fast! lol/jk. Gratz
Overall, looks very good. I love the look of the bridge/stair part, looks very well made. The only worry i have from looking at the photos, is that the ghost looks like its in the wrong map. I may well be wrong, but it doesn'y look like the ghost has enough space to do anything. However, i will download and see.
I agree. When Bl00d F1r3 and sdrakulich said it was featured I was very suprised also. I spawns were decent, the layout was too, but the interlocking wasn't clean and it was very random. Going from level to level you will notice bumps and flaws. I didn't enjoy this map. Sorry Phreakie. But I still love you!
Well congrats on the feature phreakie. I would have to say that this is a feature well deserved. While playing this I really do feel like foundry is enormous! My favorite part is the bridge/stair walk around column thing. I do not know what to call it.(too epic)

This map is very good and deserving of a feature. The aesthetics are nice, and gameplay as well. I like ghosts on Foundry and this map has that and several ways to combat the ghosts (i.e. hammer, trip mine, plenty-o-plasmas). I saw that you fixed the ramps up so they don't slow you, which is a def plus in gameplay. The only problem I saw was when you are on top of the vertical double box in the corner, the double wall sticks up too much, to the point that you cannot walk over it. I would geomerge this so it is flush with the top of the double box. Otherwise, excellent map. 9/10
I remember looking at this map in forge, and my absolute favorite part of the map was the stairs and bridges in the 3rd pic. The ghost isn't overpowering on this map because of all of the tight turns that limit its manuverablility, so that's good for balance. I really like this map 5/5.

Congrats Phreakie. I just played this 10 minutes ago. This map is what lightsout described it and more. The gameplay never gets old, it is constantly fastpaced, and don't trust your radar because I only got like 7 kills relying on my radar to help me. The numerous areas to explore and levels in the map make this a map that everybody should download. The interlox and merging are phenominal. Just watch your back on the lower floors, Phreakie got 75% of his kills from assassinating me. Oh, and remember Phreakie, SHUT UP BABY! I'LL PUT YOUR LEGS IN A BLENDER!
