Problem with merging the second push.

    O hai :)
    When i merge a box into the ground it goes smooth and fine, but when i does it the second time it either goes through the whole map and dissapear or it gets very angled. I dont know if this is the right forumthread to post this in, then tell me. But can someone please try to figure out what kind of misstake i do over and over again. :(

    PS. I use teleporters as the enstabling units.

    Whatever i use as the enstabling units, i get that to (If you are talking about using doors.
    I think there is ab better way,. just got to think...
    its somehthing like...Say you want a box to be in the groud, 3 walls high. You lay the walls down, put the box on top, delete the walls. Set the box to not respawn at the start, with s long-ish respawn time. Start a new round, then hold another box in the same place where the old one was. KEEP HOLD OF THAT BOX, and make the original box respawn. Qucikly save/quit, when you come back, it should be k :happy:

    Someone else may be able to explain it better.

    I've seen ppl use that kind of trick when they merge. I havent tried it yet, but i dont think its 100% sure that you will get the box at the exact point. Since that trick requires space.
    Anyway, thanks :) I'l try that out! :monitor:

    Try placing man cannons around the box so that they are pushing the box you want up into the doors.

    That should keep it level if you do it from the start.

    Not really stable way.
    Use what way said. Also make sure you end save wait two seconds then end the game. Also try using more doors. I have had this problem but when I saved and quit it helped.

    If you secure all sides with Tele nodes (recievers with the bottomg against the ox you want and senders standing verticle with two of the points against the box on all sides) and then the man cannons placed in the centre of each side of the box (for walls, one man cannon in the middle works) as long as you started with your pushing object, doors or something else, level it should stay level cause the man cannons will push your merged object back up against your pushing object.

    Stable as, I use this method and I don't even have to save/quit anymore when forging on Local.

    1:geo-merge it the first time
    2:let go and save changes
    3:surprise:nce your holding it on the second geomerge save as new map
    4a:load new map and if its good delete the other version.
    4b:if its bd delete the new map.
    5a:carry on
    5b:repeat steps 3&4

    that should clear things up abit'
