THAWED OUT OK this is my 2nd map ive posted. It was made on Avalanche by myself. It took about 5 hours for everything to be completely done. NOTE!!: THis is a Snipers only map. That means NO objective(sorry) When i made thiss map I intended it for any variant of Snipers. I recomend that at least 6 people play on this map or it might have slow gameplay. There are No weapons or grenades on this map. Equipment:. Bubble shield x2 Regenerator x1 Overshield x1 Camo x2 Mongoose x6 Each teleporter leads to the nearest base/fort GIANT NOTE MUST READ!!: I ONLY USE HALF OF AVALANCHE(THE LEFT SIDE IF UR LOOKING FROM THE BASES).So yes i put a semi high wall to block other half.Plz restrain urself from going over.Cause theres nothing over there Heres some pics. All criticism is welcome. (Captions are on bottom of pic) Dont go on other side. This Base is at the very center of the field and at the highest point. These are a series of tunnels so vehicles or players can get to other sides of map.But dont worry snipers will have time to get them when theyre going in or coming out another base base contains regenerator my favorite base. The bridge will give you great sights of other bases. and me Trying to look badass Thawed Out LINK If i shuld make a v2 or any adjustments plz tell me
Very original idea. I might download. I love how you cut the map in half cause i'm going to use this kind of wall in my new map i'm making. 4/5 for me. I'll get back to you and review it when i get home from Minnesota. From the look of it you might need a version two to make it anything special. Ya first post
i like the map but can you get out of the level. you said their was nothing overtheir so dont go over, does that mean you can because that would still be a problem. the bases look like they took some time to make especially the floating ones. i dont see any interlocking but that is not nessecary. Overall, i give you a 4/5 because the forging isnt that good but it is above average. Ps-the sniper is my favorite gun !
I understand your trying to bump your thread by asking this question, but if I were you I wouldn't change the name of your map. It's a good name for a map like this on Avalanche. I noticed you didn't have any pictures of you play testing this map with other people. Before working on a v2 I'd suggest getting people to help test this map with you so you can actually see how it plays. Then you will know where the problems are and if you should make a v2.
