I really want to get COD WaW, but it seems like Gow2 is freaking awesome and everyone has it. I just got far cry 2 awhile back, and I am afraid that I won't be able to get both Cod and Gow. I really want to play **** Zombies god damn it!
Some people say it is not when they start to play it. Once you get use to it, you will think it is better.
im getting it tomorrow morning. but i was just over at my friends house playing it for a while. before i went, i wasnt sure if i was gunna get it or not. but now i have to. i think the campaign of cod 4 was definitely better than what ive played of WaW. since it is WWII, everyone knows how it will end. i also much prefer all of the art and animations of cod 4. but the multiplayer i do enjoy a lot, but im not sure if its better than 4 yet. and my favorite map as of now is upheaval. it has some similar qualities to crossfire i think, but i really like it a lot. and when i was playing today, the mp40 pretty much dominates the entire game.
I think that **** Zombie mode is enough to buy WAW, I've played probably 20 hours total of that, and the new maps are beatiful or at least look better then COD4 maps. On COD4 it was: exploded and ruined buildings, downed 'coptas or tanks, lather, rinse, repeat. At least you get to fight on some beautiful pacific islands or with interesting wreckage. What's the farthest anyone has gotten on **** Zombie? I've gotten to lvl 15 with just 2 ppl. Ray gun FTW.
lvl 19, 3 people, all ray guns, two brownings, and fail teamwork to revive fast enough. How's that? (fourth time playing for me...) Fail though, there's a glitch where people can get to unlimited levels...kinda sucks if you ask me. I absolutely love the game though. It's made amazing, and I just got level 39, and just unlocked the aperture for the STG
I ****ing hate you, I didn't think anyone would challenge me. But how's this, I did it on ****ing ps3, so that makes it...well that makes it worse actually. But if you have a ray gun guy, a flamethrower guy, and a browning guy you are unstoppable. Did you guys just run around or camp in the room overlooking the first stair case (obviously that first stair case debris would still have to be there)? That's what I do. Ray gun guy gets the window, and flamethrow and browning get the guys charging through the door. I'm going to say it right now, you may hate me for it, but COD: WAW > GoW2 > COD: AW Zombie mode and better maps make WAW the easy winner for me.
The best strategy so far, is unlocking the stairs without opening the help door.....that way, they all funnel through one doorway. Ideal situation: ray gun guy, maybe two at stairs, preferably two at windows behind you. One falls, basically everyone dies past level 14.... We had 3 ray guns, 2 brownings. IMHO it kinda failed when we died. We wuz like oh teh nooooeoeeeezzz...
Don't you people think they introduced "**** Zombies" to try and get Halo players onto COD5, That seems a bit desperate. For a realistic game, I wouldn't say **** Zombies fits in with it.
Nothing, Just let me say this. <sarcasm> There is not an Infection gametype on halo 3, which started the idea of having zombies because it was popular so people started copying. </sarcasm>
Ahh, that's a decent strategy, I tried that except opening everything, but I think it doesn't give you enough time to shoot the 'runners', and I like the safety net of the grenades at your back. I'll definitely have to try that way
Ahhh, I see what you mean. I didn't really think that they are all that similar, I mean the basic premise for it is, but the WAW **** Zombies is just different. It's better then every zombie game except Zombies on Foundation with pistols and shotguns for the humans and swords for the zombies, and moving the boxes in front of the door (those were the days).
Are you experienced not to kill the last man and just keep rebuilding the window at the end of a higher round, when you get to have your buddies buy ammo, new weapons, and keep trying to get the ray gun or browning until they use their money up? Just have one guy stand at the window, rebuilding, one guy buying, and other guys rebuilding all the windows in the full "house". That should completely work out for the best, giving you guys the time you might've forgotten when somebody kills the last zombie in the end. If you guys get a crawler inside, and he's the last guy, mess with him while somebody does the above said ....those guys are sooo cute, go prone in front of them, they look like bunny wabits
On a comedy thing here, Did anyone ever see a **** zombie in the REAL world war 2? See, when you think about it. **** zombies doesn't really fit in with a game like Call of duty to be honest with you. Still "**** Zombies" quite funny. A;sp, I have no idea why infection fits in so good with halo.
Now that is a good strategy right there. I did ways of that but I didn't organize it quite as well as above. That should get us past lvl 15 for sure. If I wasn't on shitty ps3 online I could of held a game of 3 ppl for more then 3 rounds and maybe gotten farther. But I ****ing hate crawlers . Everytime there are a bunch of them due to a grenade, as long as I am not in danger I go to every single one and shoot them in the forehead. 99% of the time I die because I didn't see one of them.
Yeah everytime the **** zombie intro comes on I think, "wow this is super corny, but it's so fun!" Does anyone else think it would be better if you could checkpoint so you start at, say, lvl 10 or 15 everytime and you have 1500 or so and a minute to go buy whatever? Or a variation of that? Also maybe buy barriers that last longer then the regular wood ones, but they are around 2500 so it's expensive to use so many?
Actually, kinda off the zombie topic, well half off, half on (lol). A new update is coming on (unlike Bungie's that get released a year after the game...) which fixes most of the current multiplayer issues, like snipers that totally miss, even on the killcam, yet kill you. Also, they are releasing more Zombie maps, since they didn't anticipate it to be such a "hit". In addition to that, they are fixing the glitches throughout the game (like one on castle, found in my vid here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lgn88ewMZpY ) Basically, all major post-release updates in bulk released.
