Yes, but I'd be stuck in a corner and an easy kill.

Lmao, irony. You never thought of using vehicles for a switch, so you say it sucks. What if everyone said that to the first interlocked map? "Wow, why is everything joined together, that's so stupid, 2/5"... and then you go saying you'll use it for your next map?

Also just to let everyone know, it's impossible to die when you're camping in camo drain. I think Devinish put an invisible sheild door in front of it or something.

I didn't know you finally posted this!!! The switch in this map is pure genius...I don't think anyone else could have come up with this themselves....seriously congratulations! The elevator really becomes a tactical asset during one sided objective matches...you'd never guess that controlling that switch at the top of the map would be so crutial to winning....yet it is.

You've managed to take a map with a generally small layout, and stretch it out into something more with an incredibly complicated switch. I think people could stare at this map all day and still not understand how it functions. I stood there as you explained to me how it worked and I couldn't even begin to fathom how you managed to figure it all out on your own.

And normally I'd tell people to watch out for a prominent feature to be copied....but in all honesty I don't think anyone here has the capability to do that, lol.

You'd be surprised at how many times the elevator door saves your life. It's hilarious watching your enemy charge at you only to be cut off by the dumpster door and hearing them yell profanities over the proximity chat.

Aggh, I hated that! I don't remember exactly who it was. But I do know it was me and Iv0rY vs. you and someone else. And the guy you were with was on the bridge, and I grabbed the sniper and got a shot on him, and then proceeded to chase him down the bridge up to the elevator. Buuut, he escaped into the elevator, with only the dumpster to meet my BR spray which was aimed at his head.

    Again, great map!

i dont really know about pallet parade killer but ill see for myself from the pictures, the map seems really messy but that could just be me. Instead ill check it out all in forge to see what this map looks like and i will test this out so i can re-edit this post with one of The Phreakish Reviews like on Aperture :D

This is one of the two super epic maps today. It looks so creative. You have a nice post, but a weapons list would be nice. I love the design especially the elevator and those stairs. Can't wait to play this. Good job and I will download.

Wow. That looks like a kind of map that I would want to download. The water looks neat as well as the geomerging. And I enjoyed the fact that you put bunkers in it. I love bunkers. What can I say.... 4.6/5. My friend that elevator is quite awesome as well. As creeping has said above, Have fun having a feature.

Thanks for the suggestion. I edited the post with a weapon/equipment list.

The map was intended to have an "industrialized" look to it. Everything has been placed in such a way that it gives different lines of sight depending on where you are. There is no one spot that is overwhelmingly powerful, and a good team will stay on the move and try to maximize their lines of sight. There are several little "Safety Corners" I like to call them, where you can crouch, and your head won't be poking above the half walls. It would be a good idea to find them.

That elevator gave me a forgegasm, it kicks so much ass that it hurt to look at it. It operates so much like a real elevator, and it was a pure genius idea.

And the map looks great to, great for Slayer. The weapon layout is great, an i think i can trust you balanced it.

10/5, Double the rating. (The highest i've EVER givin is a 6/5)

    FEATUR NAOW!

That was ME lol! that was the most epic moment that day, and it definitely remains as one of the most epic moments in my experience of halo 3. Yeah, smeagol was chasing me and I activated the elevator, hopped in, and the door closed right as he got there, right in his face! The funniest thing ever.

Great map Dev, and enjoy your feature, you bastard. :D

    ^ lol, that's awesome Drago.
This is a very fun map with an amazing dominant aesthetic, the likes of which are shared by great maps such as Pallet Parade, End of the Line, and Troika. Like those maps, I think yours will be one of the few map ideas that rarely get copied, just for how intricate and time-consuming it must be to create.

Excellent work Dev, and like everyone else is saying, a feature is much deserved. Oh, and 'Moon Waffle', lmao, genious. Like I said in GoO it even kinda fits..... All the fencewalls and stairs make a waffle pattern, and the elevator takes you to the moon baby!

The elevator is a feat of engineering, but it doesn't work to put in an actual map in its current condition. And while the map itself has some nice forging, the aesthetics are too jumpy for me and it is too small/tight.

Please explain why rather than spamming up the thread.

You have to understand that coming into a map thread, saying it is horrible and then leaving is not helping your cause whatsoever. If you actually played it like you said you did then you must have some constructive criticism about how it could be improved.

I personally believe that all maps have room for improvement, this one included, but it is not broken in any way and plays just as well as any other map with a central mechanical theme does.

If you have reasons why it was horrible, please state them, until you do, you and anyone else that posts spam such as this gets infractions. Regardless of the map or who posted it.

The fact that the aesthetics were bad? The map was far too cramped, and the mass amounts of unneeded interlocking just added to that claustrophobia. The map's just too small to have that much interlocking. The elevator proved to be pretty much useless because it took too long to actually do anything. The map then lacks variety, with a total of 6 different weapons, exlcuding equipment.

You probably only played slayer. Try playing territories or bomb and its a lot more fun.

So, somebody's been watching The Simpsons recently, eh? Haha.
Well, to be honest, I have absolutely no idea whether I am gonna like this. It justs look hard to tell from the pictures (this isn't a negative). I'll have to download, because I cannot connect the pictures together. lol. Well, anyways, from what I can see, the elevator looks freaking awesome. I saw the elevator thang last night, so I'm going to have to see exactly how you activate it from the bottom (you press RB on something, I dunno!). The gameplay looks so intense. The aesthetics and feeling of enclosure will most likely contribute to the gameplay's intensity. Sorry for my inconclusive thoughts, I'll actually come back and comment something more productive next time. =) Expect this post to be editted eventually.
