    Architecture: Master List

    Rules
    1) The item or items must fit in the back area, where you exit the default bases
    2) Please do not dubble post any pictures in this forum unless you are trying to top some one elses structure.
    3) Try thinking of new ways to do old tricks suck as the stair steps them self stuck in the wall/box
    4) Do not over post on this forum! only over post when you have more then twenty pictures. by this i mean do not judge us for trying to add culture to our maps. even though it is not culture that makes a map it is the game play.

    For best veiwing ability you may wish to change your windows custom view to 75% if you dont know where this is go to the bottom right of the screen and click the 100% any change it to 75%. if you dont see this you may wish to go to view (in the top left, [ File Edit View Favorites Tools Help ] ) and check the Status Bar.

    Forum Contest!
    Ok so every one i was thising about how every one is always making stupid looking hidden tunnals that are blocked with a brakeble or movable item, such as barrals and pallets. So the contest is who ever could make the best looking tunnal that is hidden by a few items, that is still accesable by a player to get through ducking is inclueded. Any one can enter and you can post on this forum the winner will earn an extreamly well made signature, with your name inclueded with in it, and explaining how you are the best secrate maker.

    This is a master list of ALL the inter locking and geomerging we can think of i started it off REALLY good with about 20 pictures of cool looking stuff, and no mods where used. I would like it if every one on forge hub posted just one picture thats all i ask. Any ones I see that truely catch my eye that i have NEVER seen before i will put on the first post and put your name next to the picture. also if you see any thing that would be out of this world to see on foundry like parts of other maps or even other games you may post those pictures to and i will try to recreate it or another player will if they are up to the challenge.





    Dont forget to look though out the forum for other players pictures. There are some good ones!

    I'm We're still working on the forum and im not sure it will ever be perfect just like maps you can always make something better!

    You should probably remove that one with the yellow light as I'm pretty sure that is modded, which isn't allowed on forgehub. Other than that, all of the shots still look pretty cool and nicely made. Maybe a bit sloppy though.

    its not modded it is just geomerged with the crane

    tee hee. that was the stupid. no its not modded. it is just put there you dont even have to geomerge unless you are using some other object.

    your right, but a bit off it is to show every one things they could put into there maps to add a cool new loo to it and being able to show off there forging skills more then just a ramp or a wall stuck into another wall. but yet to bring in some cool new looks to our maps and to make our maps look a bit more... homey. i would love to see some of these stuctures in up coming featured maps.



    "forgitechture"? are you for real? that is sooo lame! but i like it sooo much and i think i will post that on the front page so that way we can get that word going around, lol i like it.

    Um, its called creativty....? A regular wall there would be so bland and boring. That piece adds more life to the map. Thats why theres a map forum called 'Aesthetic' Maps.

    But as Insane said, this is kind of a pointless thread. But some pictures did look pretty cool, and I could see myself implementing them in maps of my own.

    I highly suggest you read this: here.

    Maps shouldn't be built around 'cool structures', I hate to say it, but that's how maps that look great but dont play well are made (90% of the time).

    Edit: I'm not trying to bash the thread. The thread itself is great, a good way to pull up something aesthetic for a map that needs some kind of extra pull. But I don't think maps should be designed around structures, there's a big difference.

    The power ladder. It is mine. But to answer the above questions about the tilted fence wall with the shield in it is because it looks cool and you can't hide under it withough other people seeing you. This helps solve camping problems.

    yes thats true but if promis you if you take a sloppy map and fix it up with a few of these structures then i know it will get a lot more downloads although i know don't judge a book by its cover but what can i say if it looks good ill download for sure! but if its sloppy i dont "DL" it. by the way this is to help out the look of maps not the play of them. it helps out for the eyes though.

    This thread seems really pointless to me. Youre basically just pointing out cool structures that dont really matter or affect gameplay. Its not even a guide?

    Exactly Wrong...

    I feel your missing his point... HE joining together creative ideas.. TO make forge not look similar... Make more creative structures and to add to creative looks of forge... THe reason these looks random now..is because they are just one element of random Architecture... once some one takes the time and mixes and matching the idea in new ways... we will have yet another great map... DID you notice the image with High ground? Well he was making a point ... that could even inspire me..

    BTW did you read his post INssane? He quoted Squids in his first post...?

    The shield door fence is one of my favorite aesthetic pieces from proximity which is going to be in my upcoming map alot. It makes it look more futuristic. It is a shame however that Paranoia_UK hasn't been on in a while on forgehub or halo 3 because he had a few very good maps. My favorite being proximity.
