ah squid! i totallt meant to tell you about the fusion coil break! in fat i thought i did! i even saved a clip that i planned to send! my forgetful ass probably.. well... forgot to actually send it lol. but its just as easy with an oddball as it is without. instead of shooting the coil, you simply punch it. thats how i did it anyway without any objective in hand. That aside, this is an awesome map. Being symmetrical and round, the flow is already pretty natural, but the way you broke up the sight lines and the use of verticality really pull the whole thing together. Very well done, sir.
Congratulations squids, I knew this was going to be featured from the moment I saw it, which in fact was a few weeks ago. I've also noticed that the bridges have been moved from the ground to the first floor. It's a nice addition. As this is the matchmaking edition you should consider ATLAS. Just a thought. Once again, great design, great map, well done.
Very great job, squidhands. Congrats on the feature. I have played and yes it does play good for 1v1. This map looks very similar to Baron's map, Singularity. It really plays well and there are good aesthetics especially in the middle. It's also a great BR practice map. Keep it up.
This took a pretty long time to get featured. I've had this map since you first released it on forgehub. I never thought that having a map that was shaped in a circle aspect of the map could really make the gameplay so much more intense. This map never gets boring. It's about time it got featured.
this looks like another of the few featured maps i would actually play more than a couple times. I love the sniper spawn! maybe I'll even post a review if I get a match with this...
Well, that sucks. I'll have to change it up for the ATLAS submission. It's nice to hear these things from people who have trickier ways of escaping a map than I do. Thanks for the compliments, LIGHTS. ;-) I'm glad you brought up Singularity, because I feel that it's an overlooked map. I was reworking the outer ring when I saw Singularity posted, and I was crushed. It was such a good map and I didn't think Radius could even come close to what he made, so I redoubled my efforts and fortunately they paid off. The two maps play very differently due in large part to the ability to play outside of the outer ring and the central structure. Baron's forging is phenomenal, and I take it as a high compliment to have Radius compared to his fine work. Thanks, man. I wanted to create a drop spawn for the sniper to allow for a more accurate timer. It is possible to catch a dropspawned weapon out of midair if you time it just right, which adds a few more seconds back to the timer and screwing up the idea behind dropspawning in the first place. The sniper here should be up high enough to keep it from happening here.
Congrats on the feature Squid! I liked Oddball on this map, but here's a tip: DO NOT play oddball on this map with G043R! Just..., don't.

Ah, see I didn't play a team game. It was me, my wife, Devinish and G043R, FFA Oddball. While Devinish was racking up points with the ball, G043R was running around shooting everything that moved. lol
Go Squid, Go Squid, It's your birthday!!! You got a feature!!! I'm lame, I know. Congrats man, I love this map. If I were you I wouldn't really worry about the breakability. I stopped caring as much a while ago because I choose to play with mature people who don't bother to try and find ways to break a map and cheat. That's what 13 year olds do. Obviously if you are gonna submit this to atlas you should fix it, but don't let that one little break get you down.
I saw this map quite a while ago. It really looks excellent. I haven't played it due to xbox problems. I really wanted to see this featured. Congrats Squid

I see you did a bit of modifications to the center of the map before finally being featured. I kinda liked it the way it was before... BEFORE AFTER see, I liked the before.. but its a def download in any case. Great work Squids, top notch like always and congrats on the feature.
Thanks, Creep. I won't let it get me down. I will correct the problem for ATLAS, but I think that the majority of the people that will download it here will have enough fun with the games that they won't bother trying to play like a jerk. Sweet man, glad to hear you were able to play on it. I wish it could have been with me, but there will be more opportunities down the line, I'm sure. And get it straight, I'm a dirty princess. Thanks, Pony! I'm glad you liked it in it's previous incarnation and I would have agreed with you if it didn't make the way it plays much better. As it stands, it's harder to keep control of the top now with it's reduced lines of sight. It gives it more of a room-based feel and allows for a little safer travel along the bottom and the outer ring.
Actually, I would worry about it. Some people can get incredibly competitive and will try and leave the map as soon as they're in the lead. Take HLG for example. I also have found my own friends doing the same thing.
In case you guys didn't know, the video is broken. You placed the entire URL in the tags. You only need everything after the last "=" I know it was working before, so I don't know what went wrong. Again, congratz squid.
I'm sorry if you take offense to this, but how does it make a game "highly competitive" when you go and hide outside of a map's boundaries? To me that's a chicken-**** way to win, and isn't competitive in the least. The whole HLG thing is fine if that's the way you want to play, but in my opinion it's no more competitive than your average Infection game. As I mentioned before, I'll be reworking the map to prevent such breaks for the ATLAS submission. I may post the updated version after I can get some games to submit to Bungie, but it's still a very playable map in it's current form. The games have been so intense that no one bothered to try and get out, and that makes me happy. EDIT: Oh yeah, I wanted to post a link to another version of this. I made a variant that uses the MLG weaponset. This means that the Spiker, Needler, and Plasma Rifle have been removed. That also means that the fusion coils are gone, so it'll be a little more difficult to wrestle away the top mid from the other team. It's here if anyone wants to check it out.
