Sticky Post Your Desktop

A torrent can be any kind of file that someone hosts from there computer. Other people download this file from the person who hosted the file, and as soon as they get little bits of the file, they start sharing it with other people also. This is a seeder. Leechers are people who are downloading the file and not seeding it when they are done. These people are selfish and deserve to be raped through the eye sockets (more commonly know as skull ****ing).

To do this on your own computer, you need a torrent client like uTorrent, Deluge, Transmission, Vuze.... ect. Then you also need a torrent file which you can get from a site like mininova. You open this small file (its about 4kb) in your torrent client and you start to download the file. Remember to seed when your done. You can download Movies, Music, Programs, Operating Systems, or any other kind of file that people in this world care about (or don't).

You're saying linux had those features before OSX? Let's not turn this into an OS debate... The green background is pretty cool..

 

The Expose feature was taken from Mac, but I wasn't aware that Mac also had several desktops to switch between and wobbly windows.

 

My wallpaper is from desktopography (justfuckinggoogleit.com).

And that linux desk looks like crap. No offense.

 

Maybe if you got a different background. The green fuzzy crap in the background doesn't match well with itself.

Here's my latest one. Turned off desktop cube and a bunch of other effects to simplify my desktop.

Desktop - No windows, just the panel.


The Expo Function - Lowered the insane number of desktops for performance and simplicity. The background is simple enough to be able to be retiled over and over again without looking boring.

 

I like green and darker colors. To each his own I guess. Though the paint splatter looks pretty good tiled out like that.
