Halo 3 Recon goes open-world

This is bullshit. Why the hell wouldn't you have shields? They're obviously going to keep shields. This is either a lie or....well this is a lie. No shields = no fun.

EDIT: Actually wait. I think I heard about something that had to do with no shields. Maybe that's true. Sorry.

I kind of believe the no shields part but if there are no shield then damn that's gonna be a hard campiagn.

I just wish Halo Recon had its own multiplayer..... that would have been epic.

 

IT would have been, but Bungie can hardly keep up with Halo 3's multiplayer and correcting issues with it. Imagine if they had different multiplayer for each game. It would just be a Bungie Armageddon.

 

didnt trailer say New Multiplayer? i got so psychd when bungie was talkn 16 player co op. until it got cut to 4 or whatevr in fear of lag

 

Its an extension of the current Halo 3 multiplayer. Halo 3 Recon basically comes with new Halo 3 maps.

My guess is that they'll install the maps onto your hard drive. So you'll still need your Halo 3 disk to play online.

 

No. Halo 3 multiplayer can be played on Halo 3 Recon with those who only have Halo 3.

 

I guess you could say it's Microsoft giving Bungie a nice goodbye gift by allowing them to do this small project before they are entirely out of the scene.

No, no. Bungie actually mentioned that you will be able to keep the Halo 3: Recon disc in while playing multiplayer with those who are using the Halo 3 disc because they would both be a part of the Halo 3 title family or some **** like that.

thats pretty convient for me. It wont matter I hate h3 campain worst yet. glad i got annual the other day im nevr playing it again.
