I've been thinking about this for ages now and I figured that I should post on here before i risk my well earned tenner. I'm after making some machinima but i need a capture card. I have tried a dazzle product already and it didn't work. I also recording my xbox through my new dvd recorder and then putting the dvd on my pc. Unfortunately my brand new dvd recorder doesn't support Pal 60hz which halo is played on. Instead it shows the picture in black 'n' white. Recentely I found this: EasyCap 2.0 USB Capture Device reviews have said the quality is ok and it does support halo's pal 60hz. Does anyone have it and is it any good? Also will it work on my relatively simple PC; (Windows Xp home edition, 256mb ram) If not can anyone recomend another peice for a similar price? Preferably one that will work on my pc. i recomend the Dazzle dvc 100, works perfect on halo and other games. There are multiple settings for quality to prevent lag. Its a good bargain for 40$. I have XP and it works perfect! But the software that comes with it sucks ass. But its a very good buy! =D Dazzle DVC 100 test watch in high quality =]
Agreed. In the links in my sig you can see the videos in my map's thread. Then you can determine for yourself if Dazzle dvc 100 is for you. You can make great videos and it only took me an hour and a half to figure out how to use it with out looking at the directions.
Why didn't your Dazzle card work? What software are you using to capture? Which Dazzle? What Operating System are you using?
I do not understand what you mean. Do you mean can you haer your voice if your capturing something live? If yes, no you can't. You would have to edit it in yourself with a cmputer mic.
